She has been a victim of immense social media mockery due to a massive age-gap with her husband Nicholas Riccio.
The recent discussion is around one of her Instagram posts from May 4, 2025. Leavitt posted some adorable clicks from her family’s Palm Beach Trip with the caption “Weekends in Palm Beach.” She is makeup-free in the snaps. No matter how much people mock her for some of her outdated fashion choices at times, these snaps are sure to make the scroller pause and look. And, regardless of her outfits, we can’t deny the fact she is a pretty face.

Unfortunately, the attention quickly turned into her husband Riccio. Netizens went on with their usual comments. They sounded convinced that not a husband with his wife but a grandpa is spending time with her daughter and grandson! Sad.
The post has photos of her adorable baby and her husband posing together. What comments do we expect to see here? “Adorable Family.” “God Bless such a lovely family.” Alas! Commenters didn’t know better than, “The baby looks a lot like his Grandfather that’s holding him…”
Another user wrote, “Are the baby diapers in a separate aisle from your husband’s diapers?” One more comment read, “What made u to marry someone else’s Grandfather.”
Seriously? Its 2025. How can people forget every individual has a right to make personal choice. Yes, she married someone old enough to be his dad and there might be questions behind this decision (Not proper still people’s curiosity is always high). But going on to mock someone this way? That’s harsh.
Leavitt is a slayer in the press-briefings. Her way of handling reporters and answering questions is both praised and criticized.

Well yeah political differences is something to talk about. One user remarked in her post, “Interesting move when you still owe more than $300K in unpaid debts from your failed congressional campaign.” Another person wrote, “If you would like to be admired and respected show pictures of what you are doing for the US people you earn your money and lifestyle from. Not many people admire someone who lies and represents a fascist while gloating about a lifestyle paid for by US workers tax dollars.”
These grudges and complaints can’t be tossed aside. When you hold such an important position, people are going to talk, disagree and even smash with comments. But targeting her just because of her partner choice, might be a bad idea.
Recently, Karoline Leavitt has been sharing less moments with her spouse on social media, maybe she’s fed up with the mocking as well. According to some media houses, Riccio looked more like a loving father walking down the aisle with her daughter than a spouse signing up for a happily ever-after with his beloved.
