Fresh from tying the knot in Italy, Lauren Sánchez is clearly basking in that newlywed glow, and her latest outfit in Paris proves it.
On Tuesday, July 8, just days after saying “I do” to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, the 55-year-old former news anchor was spotted out and about in the City of Light, picking up her sister and some friends for dinner.
Lauren chose a bold, fitted red leather minidress for the evening. The striking design hugged her curves, featured a scoop neckline, and had delicate ruching at the skirt that ended just above her knees. She completed the look with sleek black heeled sandals, a matching black handbag, and dark sunglasses, her hair worn long, straight, and polished for the night out.

The outing comes not long after Sánchez and Bezos, 61, pulled off one of 2025’s most talked-about celebrity weddings. The couple exchanged vows on June 27 on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy, surrounded by a star-studded guest list.
For the big day, Lauren wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown, a stunning corseted mermaid silhouette featuring hand-appliquéd Italian lace and 180 silk chiffon-covered buttons, according to Vogue. The process of keeping the dress a surprise was, apparently, no small feat. Vogue Italia’s Fashion News & Weddings Editor, Laura Tortora, told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that Bezos couldn’t hide his excitement about seeing the gown.
“This happened after the fitting at Dolce & Gabbana, so her last fitting, and our insiders saw her immediately after, and she was really, really excited,” Tortora explained. “She herself said, ‘It was stronger than I imagined,’ and she told us that Jeff wanted to see this dress.”
“Bezos begged to see the dress. But inside herself she resisted because she wanted to give him this surprise at all costs and so she managed it,” Tortora added.
Lauren was determined to keep the reveal special. Tortora even shared that during the couple’s Vogue editorial shoot, Bezos was kept carefully out of view. “He was kept in a room that didn’t face the lawn where she was being photographed, so even in that context, attention was paid to this so she could maintain the secret with her future husband.”
Their wedding celebrations weren’t just a one-day affair. The couple hosted a multi-day event that began with a welcome party on Thursday, June 26.

Bouncing back from the anger to the lavish wedding day. According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, the ceremony itself had a romantic, cinematic moment when Matteo Bocelli performed “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley, drawing cheers from their guests.
Not long after the wedding, Lauren shared a first glimpse of their big day on Instagram. In the sweet photo, she and Bezos are all smiles, holding hands in a lush garden setting with friends and family watching on. And what a guest list it was.
