Caitlyn Jenner and Scott Jennings (both vocal supporters of Donald Trump) found themselves unexpectedly grounded in Israel on Friday as the skies above Tel Aviv filled with the terrifying sound of air raid sirens and missile strikes.

These two well-known people who support MAGA were in Israel on different occasions when the country’s main airport, Ben Gurion, had to close down. This happened after Israel launched a surprise attack on Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility.

Iran didn’t waste any time and hit back by firing lots of missiles at Israeli cities like Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. While many of these missiles were stopped, some managed to cause damage. It became impossible for anyone to travel into or out of Israel.

This situation left these familiar American faces stuck in a crisis that continues to worsen between these countries.

MAGA Allies Ride Out Airstrikes Together

CNN commentator Scott Jennings first broke the news of his situation on X (formerly Twitter), posting, “We are in a fight for Western civilization around the world. As I type this from Israel, it’s abundantly clear they are in a fight for their very survival as a nation.” Jennings said he had been moved to a secure location after the Iranian strikes began and later confirmed that Caitlyn Jenner was also stuck in the country.

In response to a Times of Israel headline announcing how the IDF is tackling missiles from Yemen, Jennings quipped, “All is well, but – this is what Israelis live with nearly every day.”

Jenner wrote, “Pray for us all. We will prevail.” The ex-Olympic star was in Tel Aviv to participate in the city’s Pride parade and was at a hotel when chaos broke out. Later, she talked to Israeli news and said she had caught up with her daughter, Kylie Jenner.

Jenner, who’s 75, posted a heartfelt message on X along with a picture of the city’s sky as it was smoky, fiery, and scary.

She wrote, “I am happy to stand with Israel today, now more than ever.” She asked everyone to keep them in their thoughts.

Jenner and Jennings are pretty close with President Donald Trump, who had some good words for Israel and talked about the situation worsening. “Excellent,” Trump reportedly said of Israel’s airstrikes. He has also tried to reopen nuclear negotiations with Iran, though Tehran has so far rejected the U.S. offer.

Missiles, Politics, and an Israel-Iran on Edge

Israel’s surprise military campaign on Thursday targeted Iran’s top nuclear sites, killing at least 78 people, including several senior military officials and six atomic scientists.

Iranian officials said the strike destroyed the above-ground enrichment facility at Natanz. U.N. nuclear watchdog Rafael Grossi later confirmed the attack and said two other facilities were under review for damage.

Iran’s response was swift and sweeping. Air raid sirens rang across Israeli cities on Friday night, with dozens injured by missile debris. According to Reuters, missiles struck buildings in Ramat Gan and central Tel Aviv. In a heartbreaking incident in Hebron, a rocket, which is said to have been fired from Yemen, unfortunately hit and injured several Palestinian kids.

Meanwhile, as the condition gets severe, the United States and Israel say that their goal is to stop Iran from making nuclear weapons. These are claims Tehran denies. “The gates of hell will open to the child-killing regime,” warned Iran’s new Revolutionary Guards commander, Major General Mohammad Pakpour, in a fiery statement on state TV.

While analysts warn of regional escalation, MAGA public figures like Jenner and Jennings are now caught in a literal and symbolic crossfire. They’re still unable to fly home and be on headlines from hotel rooms-turned-bunkers.
