Meghan Markle and Prince Harry met through a mutual friend named Violet von Westenholz, who became close to the former actress while working in PR with the famous brand Ralph Lauren. After conversing for a while, the pair met and instantly connected. Slowly, the two became involved in a whirlwind romance that no royal tags, media scrutiny, or geographical distance could tackle.
The couple married on May 19, 2018, at the St. George Chapel in Windsor Castle and became parents to son Archie in 2019 and daughter Lilibet on June 4, 2021. On Wednesday, as the little girl turned four, Meghan Markle visited social media to wish her a happy birthday.

The adorable wish included previously unseen pictures of the Duchess of Sussex, including some stunning black-and-white images of both kids. Her posts received the usual backlash and became the center of another baseless theory, from saying that Meghan Markle’s children aren’t real because of their hair color to allegedly saying she photoshopped Archie’s toes, as per news outlet Tyla.
While Instagram comments were turned off, the nasty comments on X (formerly Twitter) included, “Black and white photos, as this time, could not get a girl with ginger hair.” Another joined in, writing, “Which version of Lilibet is this? This version has fine, straight, blonde hair. And look who is dominating the photo…” A third wrote, “Always monochrome. Is that easier to retouch? YES.”
Other trolls wrote, “Whose kid has she borrowed this time?” and “What a happy-looking child… whoever it is.” Before Markle became Prince Harry’s wife, she was a popular figure and ran a lifestyle blog.

The fans loved her food blog, which showcased her passion for food, travel, and wellness. Meghan Markle also deleted her old social media accounts in 2018, when she was officially married into the royal family in Britain.
Meghan and Harry, who were working royals, used a joint Instagram page, @SussexRoyal, to update their followers on their projects and causes.
However, that also stopped after the couple decided to step down as royal members in 2020 after significant media scrutiny. Since then, they have spent their time partly between Los Angeles and the United Kingdom.
Regardless, the Duchess, who fearlessly lived her life, made a surprising comeback on Instagram after a five-year hiatus. To kickstart 2025, Meghan treated fans with a video under her Instagram handle @meghan, reported PEOPLE.

The video post was a black-and-white clip shot by Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex was on a beach, writing “2025” in the sand. Sadly, people were mean to her even on that post. People took to X and wrote, “I don’t know of anyone who missed her!” Another X user wrote, “She can keep running.” Some comments also labeled her a “home wrecker” and a “narcissist.”
Consequently, the couple seems least bothered about the online trolls, for they know that these are just nameless and faceless comments that hold no significant value in their life; Meghan is intelligent and aware that all the hate would keep her relevant and is simply part and parcel of being famous.

Since stepping down from royal duties, the couple has worked together on brand deals, shows with Netflix, and their nonprofit, “The Archewell Foundation,” including Archewell Audio and Archewell Productions, their creative hubs for podcasts and other media projects.
So, bottom line? Meghan Markle is a fighter; despite the obstacles, she is here to stay, slay, and leave a mark.
