As they arrived for their upcoming wedding, Jeff Bezos gave Lauren Sanchez a two-word warning. Recently, the 61-year-old billionaire Amazon entrepreneur and his 55-year-old fiancée landed in Venice to begin their multi-day wedding celebrations. They weren’t alone, though, as a number of well-known people traveled to the nation to witness the event.
Video footage of their arrival and their private conversations has now been examined by professional lipreader Nicola Hickling. “As Bezos disembarks, he looks toward the man stationed on the pontile (dressed in formalwear, probably part of the welcome or security team), and appears to say: ‘They’re coming,'” she told Irish Star after witnessing him exit an opulent yacht.
She added, “His expression and quick glance back toward the boat suggest he’s referring to Lauren Sánchez and possibly others still on board. The tone is casual but expectant, like someone flagging to staff that the main guests are moments behind.”
Fox News also posted a video of the couple leaving their opulent hotel, with him waving to photographers. When they arrived, Nicola said, “Arrivederci,” as Bezos turned slightly back toward the dock, composed and calm. Sánchez trailed behind him, grinning and waving softly as she murmured, “Hello.”
Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Mick Jagger, and Bill Gates are among the celebrities who attend the multi-day wedding. Arriving by helicopter, the couple—who are reportedly already legally married—landed in the Lido before continuing on to the opulent Aman Hotel along the Grand Canal.

A ceremony at the basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore, themed parties, and a lavish banquet at the old Arsenale are all part of the festivities. Local protesters continue to target the event despite its glitz.
In response to local worries about possible disturbances from the extravagant wedding festivities earlier this month, city hall representatives told NBC News that Venice is “fully accustomed to hosting high-profile events of this nature and scale.”
Jeff Bezos really said, “Half my company? Keep it. I’ll still build rockets and throw a better wedding than his previous.

“The celebrations, attended by 250 guests, will blend into the daily rhythm of a city that, with dignity and respect, welcomes thousands of visitors from around the world while safeguarding the quality of life for its residents, workers and students,” the statement said. Since then, as celebrities continue to flock to the great celebration, dummies and mannequins of the couple have been spotted all around the canal.
