Virginia Giuffre was one of the many victims of child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. A new report reveals pictures of Virginia after she was brutally beaten weeks before her death. The late sex-trafficking survivor’s family is accusing her late husband of causing her harm.
Virginia Giuffre was one of the most prominent voices in the Jeffrey Epstein case. She was trafficked by the billionaire when she was only 17 years old. She also accused the royal family’s Prince Andrew of sexual abuse.
After Epstein was convicted of his crimes, Giuffre continued to be an advocate for sex-trafficking survivors. She moved to Australia with her husband, Robert Giuffre, and her three children. Local authorities found the 41-year-old unresponsive in her home on 25th April 2025.
A new report reveals how, before her death, Virginia alleged that her husband had physically assaulted her on January 9. The couple who were separated at the time but still remained married.
Virginia’s family told The Times of London that the incident unfolded during their daughter Emily’s 15th birthday celebration. Robert allegedly wanted to sleep with Virginia, and when she declined, he got aggressive and hit her.
“Mommy, pls call me when you’re awake. Rob did it again, I’m in the hospital and I need your voice to help me calm down,” Virginia’s text to her mother a day after the alleged abuse read. Virginia also sent her mother photos of herself from the hospital.

The photos taken at the Royal Perth Hospital show her badly bruised with several cuts to her face. Virginia also has a black eye in the picture. The report also reveals how Robert went on to file a restraining order against Virginia while she was in the hospital recovering from her injuries.
He also alleged that the sex-trafficking survivor had physically assaulted him and was mentally unstable. Virginia’s diary entries reveal the details of what went wrong between the couple that resulted in them getting estranged.
According to Virginia, things soured between her and Robert after she sued Prince Andrew for sexual abuse. “[He was] showing unease in my finding independence,” her journal read.
In an entry that dates three months before her death, Virginia also noted how her husband got “jealous” of her accomplishments. She even mentions how Robert wanted her to stop advocating for other victims of trafficking.

She also notes how the father of her children accused her of being unfaithful even though her “commitment to Rob had never waivered.” Virginia’s diary entries allege her husband of being more and more controlling as days passed by. “The stronger I became, the scarier he became,” she wrote.
Virginia wrote about how Rob had started drinking at 8 am because he was “consumed by jealousy.” The sex trafficking survivor also wrote about how her husband was gambling the money she had won in the settlements after she sued Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew, and the bank JP Morgan.
