According to US President Donald Trump, he is certain that all of his children possess the skills necessary for a career in politics. He talked about his kids, their possible political goals, and his parenting style on the recently launched podcast, which was hosted by Miranda Devine of the New York Post.
“I don’t know. I mean, I don’t know. I think all of them probably have a future in politics, frankly,” Trump said. When asked if his son, Donald Trump Jr., might run for president. “And Don is very good. A good guy. He’s an outdoorsman.”
The 45th president listed each of his children’s accomplishments and professions while praising them individually. Donald Trump Jr. The president praised his eldest son’s public persona and political savvy. “Don is excellent. A decent man. He enjoys being outside,” he said.
Eric Trump: “Eric has done a fantastic job,” Mr. President said. At the moment, Eric serves as the Trump Organization’s trustee and executive vice president. For Ivanka he said, “She’s so great,” the POTUS said, referencing her time in his administration. Throughout Trump’s current tenure, Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, have largely avoided politics.
“She went to a great law school and did very well,” Trump noted about Tiffany. Tiffany continues to live a pretty secluded life, having recently given birth to her first child. Trump described his youngest son Barron as “very tall and good” and “great.” Barron is attending NYU for studies.
This might sound random, but I’m very curious about Trump’s parenting style.
All of his kids turned out well, take part in the family business, or started their own enterprises.
Barron is Gen Z, but even he looks primed for his own political run in 20 years.
Impressive.

Lara Trump, Eric’s wife, was also emphasized for her political participation. She currently presents her own Fox News show, My View with Lara Trump, and was once co-chair of the Republican National Committee.
The President also revealed what he considers to be the key to effective parenting. “I always said the same thing. I said: no drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes,” he explained. He added with a laugh, “I also would say don’t get tattoos, but I don’t say it too strongly, because a lot of people have gotten tattoos, and that’s what they chose to do.” “I still say it,” he emphasized. “I tell them: no drugs, no cigarettes, no alcohol.”

When discussing his youngest son’s relationship with Melania’s late mother, Amalija Knavs, who died in February 2024 at the age of 78, he almost broke down in tears. “He wanted to be there because his grandmother was gonna stay and wait for him in an apartment near the school. And she passed away,” he said. “She was fantastic. Melania’s mother was a fantastic woman. And Melania is a fantastic mother.”
According to his remarks, the President believes the Trump family will play a significant role in American politics for some time to come. “They were born smart,” he said. “But they work hard too, and they’re good to people.”
