As Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are gearing up for their star studded wedding in Venice a new key detail has emerged about the relationship status of the couple. According to a source, “They have been married for at least a month, more than a month.”
While date the of the wedding has not yet been revealed, if this information is true and to be trusted then the Venice wedding is more of a party and less of a legal affirmation of the marriage between the two. The source further revealed, “When they were planning the wedding, they were clear about the fact that they were already secretly married.”
Talking to Daily Mail, the source further said, “There is no application for a wedding license from the couple because it was not required. Whatever happens at the wedding on Friday, it will not be a wedding. Under Italian law, it will not be a wedding celebration, any vows said or rings exchanged will have no legal meaning.”
The insider also claimed that Bezos has apparently confirmed this himself and reportedly admitted to signing a $244 billion pre-nuptial agreement to protect his empire.

The Venice wedding, even if it has no legal meaning as told by the inside source, will be a gala affair with celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Orlando Bloom on the invitee list. It will be a three day extravaganza that will include a pajama party and a foam party, all with high profile celebrities.
Another thing that should be noted here is that since it was announced that Bezos and Sanchez will be tying the knot in Venice, protests had started there, which aimed at halting the wedding. As reported by The Mirror US, “About a dozen organizations based in Venice, Italy, where the nuptials are set to take place, rallied together to protest the event. They even created several banners, including one that ‘No Space for Bezos’ and another that read, ‘IF YOU CAN RENT VENICE FOR YOUR WEDDING YOU CAN PAY MORE TAX.’”

The couple did not completely disregard the protesters and moved their wedding venue from the 16th-century Scuola Grande della Misericordia to the Arsenale. The couple had confirmed their relationship back in 2019 and after four years of dating, Bezos proposed to Sanchez with a 30-carat pink diamond ring.
While the exact date of the wedding is still under the wraps, this information of them already being married certainty paints the three days celebration in a different light as it seems that the couple will be doing that only for enjoyment purposes as the legal part has already been done, as the insider claimed.
