President Donald Trump’s behavior and address at the West Point Military Academy have left several people talking about his mannerisms. Many have posted how he’s getting old, and his age is catching up.
About a thousand cadets graduated from the U.S. Military Academy, and Trump was there to deliver an hour-long speech. The attendees and viewers considered his behavior to be disrespectful and proof of his senile moments.
This isn’t the first time that people have talked about the impact of his age on what he does. Experts have previously weighed in on the way he walks, how he’s unable to get off stage, and slurring of speech in public.
One time, he was mispronouncing his own name. His presence of mind is so stunted with old age that he has to be herded off the stage at times, not knowing where to go after the speech is over. Doctors have discussed how these are dementia symptoms as he’ll soon turn 79.

Even during his speech he made a remark about “trophy wives,” causing a reaction from the audience as well as netizens. Moreover, people were not impressed with his choice of outfit. He picked a pink tie and paired it with his infamous MAGA hat. Looks like he never goes anywhere without it and keeps promoting his political views.
He could have dressed better for this formal occasion. As per the viewers, after his long speech, he looked lost and spoke for a few minutes with a uniformed officer. He did not know what to do next and needed directions from the officer. One of X’s users commented, “ok, grandpa, let’s get you to bed.”

The grandpa’s remarks on Trump aren’t new, as he’s often clueless in public. Another user commented on the expression of the officer who was pulling “Gramps” off the stage. Another disrespectful thing he did was not shake hands or salute even a single graduate. He walked away straight after his speech.
One netizen made a comparison of how Trump quickly saluted Saudi Generals but could not do that to his own country’s generals. He went on to ignore them and didn’t return the salute at the event.

One user said how the graduates must have been happy that the clown walked off the stage. Everyone could notice his disrespect throughout the event, right from the outfit to his behavior. Although he has been supportive of the military, allowing changes in the sector for betterment, many have called him disrespectful to the cadets. Some even said that at such a formal event, which should remain apolitical, Trump treated it like one of his campaign rallies.
