Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might not totally be averse to the idea of returning the royal life. A recent report points out the “biggest hint yet” that the Sussexes might want to reunite with the royal family.
Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals in January 2020. The couple has ever since lived in their Montecito, California home. The two co-parents of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Reports suggested that relations between the Sussexes and the royal family were strained after their exit. Matters got much worse after Harry released his memoir titled ‘Spare.’ The Duke of Sussex made some bold accusations against the royal family in his book.
One of the bombshell revelations included that an undisclosed member of the family was extremely racist towards Meghan Markle. Following the several allegations, the bond between the couple and the family just got more tense. Recent reports have suggested that Harry’s dynamic with his father, King Charles, has only worsened with time.
An insider close to Harry and Meghan shared an interesting detail about their children’s passports that has people raising their eyebrows. According to the source, Archie and Lilibet’s passport applications include the title HRH. HRH, aka His/Her Royal Highness, is a title commonly used to address royal family members.

The decision comes regarding their children’s will in foresight, according to the insider. Reportedly, the Sussexes want their children to decide if they want to live out their lives as working royals or be commoners.
Richard Eden, who is a royal reporter for the Daily Mail, notes how “the biggest hint” is that the couple might be looking for ways to find their way back into the family. The reporter points out how this could be their attempt to “mend fences.”
“And it raises the question: Could the Sussexes, who chose to give up boring old public duties to seek their fortune in the US, stage a return to the royal fold via their children?” Eden writes.

Another source spoke to Eden, noting how they don’t “understand” Meghan and Harry’s actions. The source points out that the Sussexes felt that a life within the royal family and the duties that come with it were “unbearable.” The source added, “Yet they want this for their children. It doesn’t make sense.”
The royal reporter notes how the couple spent a lot of time “publicizing their unhappiness with royal life.” Eden then went on to note how hard it was to miss Prince Harry’s “grin” in a “video as he described their ‘freedom flight’ to Los Angeles when they began their American adventure in 2020.”
