Melania Trump, who is mostly absent from the White House during Donald Trump‘s second term, has made a new announcement on social media. Months after the release of her memoir titled Melania, she has published it in audiobook format.
Calling it the “future of publishing”, Melania revealed that seven-hour narration of her memoir is narrated by an AI version of her voice. The 55-year-old First Lady wrote on X, “A new era in publishing. I am honored to bring you Melania – The AI Audiobook – narrated entirely using artificial intelligence in my own voice. Let the future of publishing begin.”

The audiobook can be downloaded on her website for $25. It is available for Web, iPhone, iPad and Android. For now, it is available only in English, but more languages will be added by Fall 2025.
Melania’s announcement comes after Amazon-owned platform Audible announced that it will offer publishers an option to choose from 100+ AI generated voices in multiple languages. Bob Carrigan, CEO of Audible said in the announcement, “We’ll be able to bring more stories to life — helping creators reach new audiences while ensuring listeners worldwide can access extraordinary books that might otherwise never reach their ears.”
Chasing the future trend, the First Lady jumped on the bandwagon to give her fans a new experience. Her audiobook is produced in partnership with ElevenLabs AI, focusing on creating a realistic representation of her voice.
Melania said that the audiobook is “an AI-generated replica of my voice” developed under “strict supervision, which will establish an unforgettable connection with my personal story, in multiple languages for listeners worldwide.”
In her memoir, Melania talks about her childhood in Slovenia and the “pivotal moments” that led her to the world of fashion in Europe and New York. She also shares details of her dreamy meeting with Donald Trump that changed her life forever. In the 256-page long book, Melania gets candid about her marriage, her hardships, fame, and motherhood. She also narrates some behind-the-scenes stories from her time at the White House.

The book was released in November 2024 and became Amazon‘s bestseller. It is currently rated 4.6 on Amazon.
Meanwhile, Melania is also busy with another exciting project. A few months ago, she announced her documentary produced by Amazon. She told Fox & Friends, “We started the production in November, and we are shooting right now, so it’s a day-to-day life, what I’m doing, what kind of responsibilities I have.”
As per several reports, Amazon paid Melania a whopping $40 million for the licensing rights.
The First Lady’s sources of revenue don’t end here. On January 19 this year, she unveiled $MELANIA Coin, a cryptocurrency linked to her brand. As per Coin Market Cap, the total market value of her coin is $205 million.
