Melania Trump, the two-time First Lady of the United States of America, is widely appreciated for her elegance, fashion choices, and flawless skin. The former model has been passionate about fashion and beauty since she was a teenager. She pursued her dream and became a professional model. Be it her modeling days or her role as a First Lady; she has always known how to make heads turn with her impeccable styling and attractive personality.

She is indeed a fashionista and exudes magnetic charm, thanks to her Slovenian genetics and healthy lifestyle habits. However, the one name that still makes headlines for the ultimate beauty and elegance is Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis

Married to John F Kennedy in 1953, Jacqueline became the First Lady in 1961. When Kennedy was campaigning in 1960, she became pregnant and decided to stay at home. Despite her absence from the campaign, she remained in the headlines for her fashion choices. She was widely admired for her style and was often featured in women’s magazines. She was even named one of the best-dressed women in the world.

When she became the first lady, the term ‘Jackie Look’ became popular as people used to look up to her for fashion inspiration. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that she shaped American fashion in the early 60s with her elegant clothing choices.

Jackie’s glowing skin was another aspect that people loved about her. Back in the days, when a lot of women preferred wearing makeup, Jacqueline preferred to stay natural. Author Pamela Keogh explains, “Jackie embraced an outdoorsy American look.”

The secret to her glowing skin was a strict self-care routine. Keogh says, “When Jackie was in college at Vassar, she designated one night a week, Thursday night, to take care of her nails and her hair, her version of self-care.”

She adds, “Seventy-five brush strokes a night for her hair. And she never went to bed with her makeup on. Back then, she used Pond’s cold cream. You rub it in for two minutes and then rub the excess off so it didn’t end up on the pillow,”  as reported by People.

But the biggest secret to her ultimate glow was Yoga. She used to practice it even before it was a trend. Jackie got acquainted with Yoga on her trip to India.

She loved wearing oversized sunglasses, which further elevated her look. “In Jackie’s Manhattan office desk drawer, she kept a dozen sunglasses. She loved them because they hid her eyes but she could still look at other people and see what was going on,” tells Keogh.

Even after decades, people love how Jackie displayed remarkable composure and grace when JFK was assassinated in 1963. Her strength during the turbulent time further solidified her status as a symbol of grace.

But beauty is subjective. Both Melania and Jackie have been the epitome of beauty and grace in their own capacity. For that matter, every woman who has donned the hat of First Lady has made heads turn with her alluring personality, positive aura, and wardrobe choices. But many of them have been embroiled in rumors of opting for cosmetic procedures, including Melania.
