King Charles got diagnosed with cancer last year and since then he has been undergoing treatment. Given his age, the disease can be especially brutal for him and yet the old monarch is trying everything to make sure that he lives for as long as he can without having to go through immense pain.
While it is well known that King Charles loves his vegetables, Radar Online recently revealed that he also likes cannabis, another kind of green, which also has medicinal properties. One of the insider sources told the portal, “Charles is now on two things – vegetables and medically-approved cannabis to treat his anxiety and pain. It’s a hippie-style diet from the 1960s, but he thinks it is part of the way he will beat his disease alongside chemotherapy.”
They further added, “It fits right in with his love of holistic therapies and wellness, and at the very least he wants it to help him hold onto his throne for as long as possible as the royal family is a mess at the minute with his sons Harry and William still feuding. He’s confident William will do a good job as king, but he is not ready to let go yet.”
In a recent Buckingham Palace garden party that had some 7000 guests, King Charles struck up conversation with another cancer survivor named. Stamford Collis. Talking about their conversation later, Collis mentioned, “He was asking me about the treatment I have starting in June and spoke to me about food and diet. He also asked me if I had undergone radiation treatment, which I had earlier this year.”

Given how interested Charles was regarding what diet Collis was following, it is evident that he believes dietary habits can impact one’s health. Since he is now relying on cannabis as a part of his diet, Radar Online mentioned he “is even growing his own crop of cannabis in the grounds of his country pile.”
The King has always been a lover of veg-diet and now he is trying to make the best out of the medicinal and pain-killing attributes of cannabis. According to a royal insider, “Charles has always led a very healthy lifestyle and so he has been particularly angered and irked by his cancer diagnosis but also, as a result of his love and deep knowledge of all things natural, he’s looked at cannabis as a means of fighting the disease and also of killing the pain the cancer is causing him.”

They further added, “He is a very open-minded chap and doesn’t shut himself off to any form of cure or pain relief, so that end he’s been tending a little crop of cannabis in one of the greenhouses at Highgrove. But it’s nothing too large – I don’t think he’s going to start selling the stuff in the Highgrove House shop, otherwise the local police might come knocking on his door!”
It now remains to be seen if the cannabis and veggies diet indeed helps the old King to revive his health and spend his days free from the excruciating pain of cancer.
