Manhunt for “killer” dad continues a month after his three daughters were found dead at a campsite. New photos showing a tent that is claimed to be the man’s have surfaced on the internet. Travis Decker, who is the prime suspect in the three murders, remains at large a month after the murders.

The whole nation was shocked last month when the news of Olivia, Evelyn, and Paityn’s murders broke out. The corpses of the three siblings were found at a campsite in Washington state. Their hands were reportedly tied with zip ties, and plastic bags were found on their head when the authorities discovered the bodies on June 2.

The cause of death for Olivia, 5, Evelyn, 8, and Paityn, 9, was revealed to be suffocation. A police statement revealed Decker, who is the father of the three, last picked them up for a “planned visitation” on May 30. Reports suggest that Travis Decker is a veteran with PTSD.

That was the last time Decker’s ex-wife saw her three daughters. Soon after, the corpses of the three children were found at Rock Island Campground. The camping site located at Leavenworth is 20 miles away from the family’s home.

Decker’s abandoned car was found close to the crime scene. The police found his wallet in the car as well. Blood was found on the car’s tailgate, and the handprints that left the blood marks were directly linked to Decker’s DNA.

The Daily Mail published photos of a tent found in the area by cops and claimed that it was the murder site. The outlet claimed that the abandoned tent is where the father of the three allegedly murdered them. Photos of the tent were published by USA Today as well, while claiming the same.

CCSO Forest Service Deputy Mike McLeod told the outlet that the tent looked like it was being used by a homeless person. “Floor was ripped, haphazardly put up, not an expensive tent,” he added.

Ryan Moody, who serves as the CCSO Chief of Special Operations, spoke to The Sun and debunked the reports. “We have no reason to believe it’s connected in any way to the homicide or to Travis Decker,” he told the outlet.

He went on to reveal that the tent and cooler found alongside it weren’t even taken as evidence by the authorities. It has been a month since Travis Decker went on the run. CCSO Sheriff Mike Morrison revealed that the search for the man has cost the government an estimated $6 million. FBI and other agencies have been actively searching for Decker, who is suspected to be hiding in the mountains of northern Washington.
