As per the Jerusalem Post, nutritionist Helen Bell from Help & Advice revealed that Kate Middleton’s supershake contains ingredients like kale, spinach, spirulina, and blueberries. All these items are not only rich in antioxidants but also rich in vitamins, which contribute to overall well-being.
Moreover, they are known to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) levels. “Leafy greens like kale and spinach can significantly support cardiovascular health,” she said. Other ingredients in the shake include blueberries, spirulina powder, and a touch of matcha powder, which is a powdered green tea widely consumed as another source of rich antioxidants.
Meanwhile, blueberries, known for their high levels of flavonoids, also play a key role in improving heart health and managing cholesterol levels. Nutritionist Helen Bell urged people to consult a doctor or a professional before making significant dietary changes, especially those who have health issues like diabetes or thyroid problems, as green veggies like kale and spinach can interfere with the system.
