With tensions in the Middle East on the rise, Donald Trump has been warned of a “new era of terrorism” as Iran gave a really scary warning that if there’s a war, American soldiers should bring enough coffins for their people.

This back-and-forth came after the US destroyed three places in Iran that were believed to be working on nukes, which didn’t get the okay from Congress first. This has worried everyone worldwide that the situation could get out of hand. Donald Trump posted on Truth Social about the airstrikes, saying it was a “historic moment” and telling Iran to stop fighting.

But Iran isn’t backing down and has promised to hit back hard.

“Bring a sufficient number of coffins with you, along with the B-2,” warned Ebrahim Rezaei, Iranian parliamentarian and hardliner, about the stealth bombers used in the attacks. This comes after nine days of Israel bombing them, too.

While Trump talked up the airstrikes as a game-changer for how the US handles things with other countries, Iran’s people in charge of talking to other countries said the US “betrayed diplomacy” and “launched a dangerous war” along with Israel.

Pete Hegseth, who’s in charge of defense, tried to calm things down by saying the plan isn’t to change who’s in charge in Iran, but then Donald Trump posted something that made it sound like he’s poking fun at Tehran’s ruling clerics.

Donald Trump’s “MIGA” Post Signals Regime Change

In another concerning post on Truth Social, Trump played around with the phrase “It’s not politically correct to use the term, ‘Regime Change,’ but if the current Iranian Regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn’t there be a Regime change??? MIGA!!!” This is a not-so-veiled threat to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei.

And apparently, he’s not taking it lightly, if The New York Times is to be believed. He’s holed up in a secret bunker, not even using his phone or email, and has handed his emergency plan to senior clerics.

Khamenei might have a good reason to be worried, because the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has been dropping hints that he might go straight for the big fish, aka Khamenei himself.

Some experts believe a situation like this could potentially lead to retaliatory actions throughout the Middle East. It might even signal the end of Khamenei’s thirty-year reign. With Israel’s recent military actions being way more intense than anything Iran saw in their war with Iraq in the 1980s, it’s clear that the country’s inner workings are shaky right now.

Global Leaders Call for Diplomacy Due To Fears of Regional Collapse

People worldwide are reacting quickly to what happened, with the UK’s Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, saying that the United Kingdom didn’t have anything to do with the U.S. attacks and promising they’re still focused on calming things down.

An ex-UK national security advisor, Lord Ricketts, talked to the BBC and said that President Donald Trump’s choice not to use military bases the U.S. shares with the UK probably saved the UK from a tough situation. “That would have meant that the UK would have to take a view on the legality of this, that they avoided doing,” he noted.

But even with all of this, it’s making many experts nervous.

Lord Ricketts thinks Iran might hit back at U.S. bases and their friends in the Gulf area. Iran and the U.S. are sending strong messages to each other, and it’s hard to find anyone to help them talk it out.

The chances of things getting much worse are growing every minute.
