According to RadarOnline.com, Michael Jackson’s former lawyer has stated that he is aware of the true cause of the King of Pop’s unexpected demise. On June 25, 2009, Jackson passed away at the age of 50.
Attorney Brian Oxman asserted that his late client’s 2005 sexual abuse trial was the real cause of death, even though the Billie Jean singer’s cause of death was determined to be cardiac arrest brought on by a propofol and benzodiazepine overdose.
Jackson was accused of assaulting Gavin Arvizo at his Neverland Ranch four years prior to his passing. Arvizo was 13 years old when the alleged molestation occurred. Jackson was charged with four charges of molesting a youngster, four counts of intoxicated a juvenile to molest him, and one count of attempted child molestation.
Jackson had previously been accused of child sexual abuse in 1993. Arvizo and his brother said during the trial that the Smooth Criminal hitmaker made sexual approaches, showed them pornographic movies, offered them wine, and masturbated with them.
Despite the legal victory, Oxman claimed the trial haunted Jackson until his death. He reportedly said: “Michael rang at all hours of the night, dozens of times. He kept asking, ‘Why? I treated them so well – and they make up these lies.’ “He could never fathom it until the day he died.”
Jackson’s former lawyer went on: “We would discuss ‘the evil’ that ultimately destroyed him for many hours. He didn’t get it. “No matter what I did, he could not understand, and my firm belief is that this prosecution destroyed him.” According to a Gallup Poll conducted in 2005, 80% of Americans thought Jackson was guilty.

“It irreparably damaged Michael,” Oxman claimed. He felt completely numb. He was emotionally and mentally spent. “I’m an entertainer,” Michael declared. Eighty percent of the individuals I rely on believe I am guilty. Jackson was found not guilty on all counts at the conclusion of the trial, which lasted four months.
Oxman went on to say that the pop star felt “betrayed” by Martin Bashir, a British journalist who conducted an interview with him for the contentious television documentary Living with Michael Jackson.
According to the attorney, Bashir’s portrayal of Jackson as a pedophile in the program “started a stampede” of charges against the iconic singer.
The new Michael Jackson @HBO documentary is shocking, devastating and powerful because of this photograph. Here is solid proof Michael molested Minnie Mouse while her friend watched. And it happened every day. He told her they would go to jail forever if anyone saw this photo. pic.twitter.com/N90qRjJZ3Z

During the 2005 trial, prosecutors brought Bashir as a witness and presented the jury the documentary. The attorney later admitted that Jackson was aware that if he was found guilty of child sexual abuse, he would probably die behind bars.
He clarified: “Michael would have most likely perished if he had been imprisoned. He was aware of that. The worst crime in our jail system is child molestation. Their fellow prisoners ridicule and mistreat those individuals.
“They are beaten, hurt, and treated horribly.” Oxman maintained his client’s innocence and said there was never any proof to back up Jackson’s accusations of abuse, even in the face of multiple other accusations.
