Donald Trump is raising eyebrows and questions at the same time, and this time it’s not his words but his hair. The 78-year-old has had his fair share of disastrous hair days over the course of his life. But his recent hair moment might just be the worst one yet.
The moment we are talking about is when the President invited the Florida Gators to the White House after their 2025 NCAA win. Trump gave credit to the team for winning the game that “lesser teams would have crumbled” playing.
The ceremony was conducted in the East Room of the White House. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were also present to honor the team. During his speech, Trump mentioned how there is “no bigger Florida fan” than Rubio.
Despite the President’s words of encouragement, the most noteworthy thing about Trump’s appearance was his hair. Trump’s hair has previously been noted to lack not only luster but also devoid of any sort of volume. It has been decades since the President has sported only his signature combover without experimenting much.

During his recent appearance, people could not help but notice that his voluminous hair looked unusually flat. What made it worse was the two-toned appearance that it gave in the photos that surfaced from the ceremony. One particular photo of the President, taken from the side while he gave the speech, made it hard to miss the peculiar appearance of his hair.
In the photograph, Trump’s hair appeared white on top and the sides, but a strange copper colour in the back. The side of his hair drew even more attention because of how harshly it was brushed back. The biggest question raised was why the length of his hair was uneven at different places.
Another viral moment that involved the President’s hair, or the lack of was during his meeting with the South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. The South African President met up with Trump and Elon Musk in the Oval Office on Wednesday.

Netizens were quick to notice and point out a very evident bald spot that Trump sported during the meeting. “Someone please tell Trump we can see his shiny bald head underneath his cotton-floss hairdo,” one noted on X (formerly known as Twitter). “The bald spot inside his head is much larger,” another quipped.
The 78-year-old’s lack of hair isn’t something he is unaware of. Trump even took a moment during the 2018 conservatives’ conference to joke about the evident bald spot. “I try like hell to hide that bald spot,” he joked in the middle of his speech.
