It’s never a dull day when Donald Trump is the centre of the discussion. The two-time President of America is known for his radical policies, bizarre statements and late-night social media meltdowns.
Wherever he goes, controversies follow. Let’s take his recent casual outing, for example. On Wednesday evening, Trump stepped out with his gorgeous wife, Melania Trump, to watch Les Miserables, at the Kennedy Center. The simple date night, where the couple twinned in black, attracted attention of critics as Trump interacted with reporters on the red carpet. It marked his first presence at the iconic center ever since he appointed himself as the chairman to get rid of “woke” productions and drag queens. Did he succeed, though? We doubt it!
Let’s take a look at the most unhinged moments of Donald Trump this week:
Donald Trump had to face Boos — and Drag Queens
Donald Trump’s date night with Melania didn’t probably go as nicely as he had expected. As the couple sat to watch the show, the crowd booed. The mood of the hall, however, changed instantly as another section cheered for the first couple and chanted ‘USA! USA!’
If the reports are to be believed, someone from the crowd yelled ‘felon’ at the President.
And the most annoying part for the President must have been a group of drag queens who casually walked past the first couple. Also, as per The Mirror, about a dozen performers of the show’s cast refused to appear at the performance in protest against Trump. The President, however, said that he “couldn’t care less about it” because all he does is “run the country well.”
Donald Trump loves the show, but does he?
Donald Trump loves stage musicals—at least that’s what he has claimed over the years. The President expressed that Les Miserables is “fantastic”. However, he doesn’t really know much about it even though he has “seen it a number of times”. Trump was asked which Les Misérables main character he identified with more–Jean Valjean or Inspector Javert?
“That’s a tough one, the last part of that question that’s tough,” Trump said. He then turned to his wife and added, “I think you better answer that one honey, I don’t know…”

Melania, however, stood silently and smiled. Trump then added, “I’ve seen it (Les Misérables), we’ve seen it a number of times. It’s fantastic. We have others coming (to the Kennedy Center), other great ones are coming.”
Does it make any sense?
Donald Trump wants military parade on birthday
Donald Trump is turning 79 on June 14. Interestingly, his birthday coincides with the Army’s 250th anniversary. Donald Trump is looking forward to make the day all about himself. Military parades aren’t a common sight in America. And the upcoming parade will reportedly cost $30-45 million.
Americans aren’t quite pleased with the idea of watching tanks and other military equipment roll down the streets of Washington DC on Saturday. As per a poll, 60% of Americans think that the parade is “not a good use” of taxpayers’ money.

It’s the kind of thing you see with Kim Jong Un, you see it with Putin, you see it with dictators around the world that are weak … Weakness masquerading as strength … that’s about as small as it gets … that’s Donald… pic.twitter.com/3hXuRHPKUU

As reported by The Mirror, Matt Wheeler called the parade “extremely wasteful” and “a bit of a performance” that “just sends a bad message.”
“The only other time I can think about this, it’s been in old throwbacks to the USSR or things you see out of North Korea,” added Wheeler, who works in nonprofit fundraising in Los Angeles and calls himself a Democrat.
Donald Trump’s birthday celebration won’t be smooth
A lot has been planned for Donald Trump’s birthday. But he won’t be pleased by any of it. Americans have been massively protesting against Trump’s immigration crackdown. These protests will most likely continue over the weekend while Trump would be busy with his military parade.
As Trump has vowed to increase the deployment of military force inside the country, ‘No Kings’ protests have been organized in several cities. Luckily for Trump, no protests have been planned in Washington DC yet as he issued a warning that the parade must not be disrupted or else he’ll take big action against them.
MAJOR BREAKING: In a shocking statement Donald Trump says anybody who protests the military parade on Sunday will be met with “very heavy force.” The president is supposed to defend the Constitution. This is disqualifying. He should be impeached.

Trump surely has a lot on his plate right now. But he seems to be more than ready for all kinds of criticism, protests and backlash. After all, Trump thrives in a controversial environment.
