Donald Trump has been quite literally killing it with his social media game, and this time, too, there hasn’t been anything out of the ordinary. The 79-year-old U.S. President recently came into the limelight after he shared an AI-generated video of a grim reaper, which now adds to the list of his incomprehensible social media shares. For the untold, he was recently spotted attending a dinner meet at JD Vance’s residence, accompanied by the First Lady, Melania Trump, as well. The video in question was shared soon after this visit-turned-double date.
The curious clip uses an AI-generated cover version of Blue Öyster Cult’s iconic track (Don’t Fear) The Reaper, which was released in 1976 and was an immediate hit. It shows former OMB director and architect Russel Vought as the reaper, as per the song.
The visuals, which are also artificially generated, show how he travels around Washington D.C., dressed as a reaper. However, the most catchy part of it comes with the interspersed visuals of Trump himself, as he plays a cowbell accompanied by JD Vance on the drums.
Another unmissable addition to the video is certainly the visuals of baby democrats, including one who is shown to have a moustache and dressed wearing a sombrero. While Donald Trump has usually reposted such videos in the past on social media, his presence inside the track also left the internet divided and puzzled about what it was actually representing to the audience. Moreover, the U.S. President‘s repeated sharing of such videos, which attempt to show the Democrats as being overly supportive of each other as undocumented immigrants, along with a burning desire to provide health care to immigrants, which then turns into one of their biggest reasons to shut down completely.
The current video, however, also drew attention to its choice of lyrics. The song can be heard as “Now their time has come / Here the power’s gone / Russ Vought is the reaper / He wields the pen, the funds and the brain / Here comes the reaper / Dems you babies / Here comes the reaper / Gonna tie your hands / Here comes the reaper / Won’t be able to fly / Here comes the reaper / Cry baby end your plan.”
The video then ends with an interesting footage of the democrats actually speaking among themselves, while the singer continues to stage “blah blah blah blah blah….” over the top of their voices. Finally, there are also visuals of Trump-supporting children dressed in Halloween costumes and out for trick-or-treating.
Closing in on more details about the video, it has been designed by a pseudonymous group known as the Dilley Meme Team, which a failed congressional candidate and a complete Trump supporter founded. This social media page has dropped a lot of interesting and controversial videos and memes, which have taken place on social media time and again. At the same time, many other social media artists have previously opposed the use of music by Trump himself. However, they have not commented on the matter yet, with the face of the U.S. President being a part of it. Till now, there has been no information from the White House on the matter.
