It is not a secret that Donald Trump is a huge fan of makeup and he is rarely seen without it. One of his favorite products is the bronzer and over the years his bronzer looks have gone through certain changes with him looking strange in most of those looks.
One of Trump’s famous bronzer looks came after his 2016 presidential campaign had wrapped up. As reported by Nicki Swift, “For his USA Thank You Tour, the first-time president-elect sported a whole lot of bronzer, with the tell-tale signs of the much lighter circles around his eyes.”
If he had gone lighter on the bronzer, it was evident that his look would have turned up better without the makeup discrepancies showing on his face.
Then, again in 2020, Trump went overboard with his bronzer and it seemed like he was channeling his stress regarding the election into applying bronzer on his face. It looked like he had tried to pull off a contour over his already bronzer laden face and naturally the result looked quite awkward on camera.
Another one of Trump’s badly dressed moments came in the year 2024 when he attended his criminal trial wearing a yellow tie with dark polka dots. Now, in the pictures that were taken from a distance, Trump’s tie looked more orange than yellow and yet it seemed that the American President’s face was even more orange than his tie.
His bronzer stood out even more prominently than ever during the trial and it can be assumed that Trump had no idea what he was doing while he was putting on makeup that morning.

Donald Trump also went all out with his bronzer when he left the White House after losing the 2020 elections. He did not attend the inauguration and yet made sure to make some final comments before he left. It was for this occasion that he had plastered a huge amount of bronzer on his face and it goes without saying that the result was not great.
Following his criminal trial in 2024 and how his orange tie had marred his looks, one might think that Trump would stop doing anything with the color orange. However, that was not at all the case. In the same year, days ahead of the election, Trump wore an orange vest and gave a press conference from a garbage truck.
As reported by Nicki Swift, “This particular ensemble saw Trump become one with what he was wearing. Instead of the luminescent vest sticking out, its reflection on his cheek made for a pretty accurate shade match.”

Given the kind of obsession that Trump has with his bronzer, it does not seem that he will ever stop using it, no matter how the results turn out to be.
