It’s 2025 and Donald Trump will finally get the military parade he waited for.
Washington, D.C., is set to host a spectacular military parade. June 14, 2025, marks the 250th anniversary of the United States Army, and the government is ready to celebrate it.
The event was formally announced by the White House. It will take place along Constitution Avenue, and the venue stretches from 15th to 23rd Street NW. The three-hour parade is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM and conclude at 9:30 PM. The public access to the parade will start as early as 2:00 PM to accommodate the expected crowds.
The timing of this historic celebration also aligns with the 79th birthday of President Donald Trump. It is a coincidence that has fueled speculation that the event is more than it is supposed to be. Officials have emphasised that the event’s core purpose is to honour the Army’s long-standing service and sacrifice.
However, one can not forget Donald Trump’s France trip in 2017, where he reviewed the Bastille Day military parade with French President Emmanuel Macron. His fascination with military parades stems from that visit. Upon his return to the country, he demanded a similar show of power and equipment for the upcoming July 4th celebration, which was later not approved.

And now that Donald Trump is in office again with a whole lot more sycophants surrounding him, he is finally getting his parade.
This once-in-a-generation event will take spectators on a journey through the U.S. Army’s rich history. The parade will showcase events from its founding in 1775 to its present-day global footprint.
Among the most anticipated features are historical reenactments and interactive exhibits. These will showcase period-accurate uniforms and weaponry.

Over 50 aircraft are also expected to take part in dramatic flyovers. These will include helicopters, modern military jets, and a B-25 bomber. It is a nod to the Army’s airpower legacy. The flyovers are designed to reflect both the Army’s heritage and its technological evolution.
On the ground, attendees will witness an impressive display of modern military equipment. It will showcase the Army’s operational strength. Highlights include:
- 28 M1A1 Abrams tanks
- 28 Bradley Fighting Vehicles
- 28 Strykers
- 4 Paladin self-propelled howitzers
These vehicles will be staged along Constitution Avenue and will offer an up-close look at some of the Army’s most advanced battlefield assets.
250 years of service. One unforgettable celebration. 🇺🇸

Security and crowd management will be the most important aspect of the parade. The Army expects upward of 200,000 spectators. Approximately 6,700 soldiers will participate in the parade and contribute to the military pageantry and logistical operations.
The Department of Homeland Security has designated the event as a “national security special event.” They have placed it on par with major occasions such as presidential inaugurations and the Super Bowl in terms of security and national significance.
The U.S. Army has allocated an estimated $25 million to $45 million for the event. It will cover parade logistics, security, and related festivities. These will include a large public festival on the National Mall.
