The sexual assault and trafficking case against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to grip headlines, with a former assistant taking the stand to deliver disturbing details of her time working for the Bad Boy Records founder.
The woman, identified under the pseudonym “Mia,” testified Friday, May 30. She described what she called a deeply controlling and abusive work environment. As part of her cross-examination by Combs’ attorney, Brian Steel, Mia revealed that her job was so demanding she couldn’t maintain a normal personal life, and even had to plead to attend her grandmother’s funeral.
🚨 Diddy’s former assistant “Mia” took the stand, calling his workplace “chaotic” and “toxic,” and accusing him of violence and sexual assault.

“No, there was absolutely no time, and I had to get permission to leave or do things,” Mia said on the stand. “I had to beg to go to my grandma’s funeral.”
Mia has accused Combs of subjecting her to years of physical and sexual abuse during her eight years of employment.
The federal case has gained significant attention in recent months, especially following a separate high-profile lawsuit by singer Cassie, who accused Combs of ra-e and abuse before reaching a confidential settlement last year.
During cross-examination, Steel confronted Mia with several past Instagram posts in which she appeared to praise Combs, images that surfaced after she had allegedly already been assaulted by him. Mia explained that the posts did not negate her experiences and that life with Combs was not black and white.
“It was very confusing,” she said of the relationship. She admitted that despite the trauma, there were moments when she felt protected and that she often acted in ways that would please Combs to keep herself safe.
When things were good, Mia told the court that she felt safe. Her focus, she said, was “to make sure” he was happy, believing that doing so might prevent harm.
When Steel pressed her on why she would speak positively on social media about someone she claimed to be afraid of, she didn’t hesitate. “Yes — especially about the person I was terrified of,” she said firmly.
The day before, on Thursday, May 29, Mia shared another troubling account. She testified that Combs once threw a bowl of spaghetti at her. The incident allegedly occurred after she stepped away briefly to change her tampon, something she said became necessary after working long hours without a break.
At the time, Combs had reportedly instructed her to gather guests for an outing, which she momentarily delayed to tend to her own basic hygiene.

Combs has denied all allegations of trafficking and running a criminal organization. His legal team has admitted that he may have a temper and could be prone to volatile behavior but insisted that none of his actions rise to the level of criminal enterprise or sex trafficking.
The case has added fuel to long-standing rumors and controversies surrounding Combs’ behind-the-scenes conduct, sparking intense public scrutiny. With multiple women now stepping forward and the details of their testimonies becoming more harrowing, the courtroom developments continue to dominate national headlines.
