The White House has taken yet another bonkers step to further Donald Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill‘. To promote his spending proposals, his administration has come up with a live-streamed cartoon of the President hanging out at McDonald’s.
The video was posted on Trump’s White House website with the title “One Big Beautiful Lo-Fi MAGA Video to Relax/Study to.” Crazy right?
The video features an animated version of Donald Trump working the fryers and waving to customers at a McD outlet. That’s not all. To make it more unhinged, the White House added some soothing beats in the background.
As the video plays, a big paragraph floats on the right side of the screen, emphasizing the self-claimed benefits of Donald Trump‘s “Big Beautiful Bill.”
Some of the self-professed points include: This bill delivers the largest tax cut for middle and working-class Americans in history, Secures bigger paychecks, boosting the take-home pay for hardworking typical families by OVER $10,000 a year, historic tax relief for workers with a 15% average tax cut for Americans earning $15,000-$80,000, no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on senior’s Social Security, and more.
The text further emphasizes other benefits of his MAGA bill, claiming that it will restore fiscal sanity, permanently secure the border, and modernize air traffic control.
The clip also shows the animated version of the American leader raising the country’s flag in front of the White House. This was seemingly a reference to the two giant flagpoles that he installed as a “gift” to the U.S. earlier this month.

While this is surely a bizarre approach to further the agenda, this is not the first time the White House has taken such a step.
Earlier in May, the Trump administration shared a similar live stream on YouTube, X, and Rumble. It featured another cartoon version of the Republican leader scribbling away to lo-fi beats at the Resolute Desk at his Oval Office, of course with a list of “promises made, promises kept” on the side.

The new livestream refers to his publicity stunt during his 2024 presidential campaign when Donald Trump acted to work at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania. It was a stage-managed visit, and no one had actually ordered anything. His customers were Secret Service-vetted supporters who were at the drive-thru window as he handed out fries.
The whole video seems to be a spoof of the French YouTube channel LoFi Girl. It was launched in 2017 and provides 24/7 live streams of lo-fi beats accompanied by an animation that features a girl studying or relaxing at her desk.
