One of Lauren Sánchez’s wedding dresses was reportedly stolen from the venue. A report that emerged after the multi-million dollar wedding revealed how her dress was stolen from the venue. Apparently, the stolen dress wasn’t the only unfortunate incident that Sánchez faced in the wardrobe department.
Sánchez’s decision to have 27 dresses for her wedding seemed excessive until one of them got stolen. One of the 27 dresses was reportedly stolen, and it was too late by the time it was noticed. An unknown woman is being considered the prime suspect in the theft.

The uninvited woman, reportedly dressed in elegant clothes to fit in, slipped past the security present at the venue. She was then “kindly escorted out” by the security, according to Italian newspaper outlet Corriere della Sera. The same woman is now being accused of stealing the dress, as per Daily Mail.
Another one of Sánchez’s dresses reportedly caught fire in an unfortunate turn of events. The dress that was designed by Dolce & Gabbana was fortunately not the one she was wearing to walk down the aisle.
Instead, Sánchez wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown to the main ceremony. The white lace gown featured a white turtleneck also made of lace. The custom gown was made up of a corset that fit Lauren like a glove.

In an interview with Vogue, she admitted that the hand-appliquéd lace gown isn’t what she originally wanted for the wedding. “It went from ‘I want a simple, sexy modern dress’ to ‘I want something that evokes a moment,'” the 55-year-old admitted.
Lauren took to Instagram to post pictures from the wedding and give her gown its moment. In the snaps, the gorgeous gown stood out with its floral lace sleeves. The gown also had a long flowing skirt with a long, dramatic train. The dress featured a high neckline with buttons in the front.
The former American journalist also opted for a veil that was just as long and dramatic as her train. “Not just a gown, a piece of poetry,” she wrote in the caption accompanying the photos.
I see a lot of people disliking Lauren Sánchez’s wedding dress, but honestly I think it looks good on her. It’s not my personal style, but it suits her well. In an interview with Vogue that took place during her final fitting, she admitted feeling like a “princess” in the gown. “It was more powerful than I thought,” she added. The 55-year-old also shared how her husband-to-be, Jeff Bezos, wanted to forego tradition and see her in the gown before the wedding.
“I almost gave in,” she confessed. She told the magazine how she denied the request because she wanted it to be a surprise and couldn’t wait to see his reaction. Sánchez wore several glamorous gowns over the span of the star-studded ceremony.
