White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt needs no introduction! The impeccable orator gets scrutinized by the media just like her boss, Donald Trump! The youngest press secretary is known for the sparkling diamond cross she regularly wears during press briefings. However, it vanished earlier this month, sparking online speculation, not only by the media but also by a renowned comedian.
The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart tore into her during a June 3 segment. “The more she lies, the bigger her cross gets,” Stewart joked. “It’s like some sort of weird Pinocchio cross.” The comedian didn’t hold back, saying Leavitt may be the only one in Trump’s orbit to “walk away unscathed,” suggesting she has no principles left to lose.
As per The Atlanta Black Star, Jon Stewart added that Trump’s approach to leadership has never been about policy: “He wants attention, he wants his ego stroked, and he wants f***wads of money.” The segment received over two million views on YouTube. Karoline Leavitt’s cross necklace was conspicuously absent from her next press appearance. One viewer noted, “She stopped wearing her cross the day after this aired.”
Reportedly, Karoline’s bling necklace appears to be several diamonds arranged in an intricate pattern, potentially worth up to $50,000 if the diamonds are natural.
In an interview with Christian Broadcasting Network, earlier this year, the multitalented press secretary spoke about her faith and said, My faith is incredibly important to me, I would argue, now more than ever, being in a role that is very demanding and at times controversial. There’s a lot of public pressure and discussion online about who you are and your family.”

She spoke about how God has a plan for everyone after referring to how she ran for Congress in 2022 and lost the general election, implying that maybe sometimes what didn’t work out for you really worked out for you!

Despite her wholesome interviews and touching words about her faith, Karoline Leavitt was slammed for lying, just like her boss in an old press briefing. One example was her claim that Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a Maryland father deported earlier this year, was involved in a violent crime, even though someone else was already convicted. She also said he was part of MS-13 despite no court confirming that.
On The New Abnormal podcast, Andy Levy said, “She gets up there, wearing a cross, and lies. That’s breaking the Ninth Commandment.” He also pointed out that her claim about an immigration court ruling was utterly false. Some people have called her a “fake Christian,” saying her actions don’t match her religious image in front of the media.

Meanwhile, even though Karoline Leavitt did not wear the infamous necklace after comedian Jon Stewart’s verbal jabs towards her, it returned during a June 25 Fox News interview.
She praised Donald Trump’s Iran policy and blamed the press, especially CNN, for trying to tear him down amidst all the chaos that followed after the US attacked Iran under Operation Midnight Hammer, the American military launched over two dozen Tomahawk cruise missiles at the Isfahan nuclear site, coinciding precisely with the B-2 bombers’ silent entry into Iranian airspace on June 21, 2025.
Many people on social media have claimed that Karoline’s way of talking to the media has become a lot like Trump’s. A user said, “Leavitt was becoming just like Trump.
“She talks about him like no other president mattered. It’s pure shamelessness.” In addition, several others ridiculed her alleged fake faith and said, “When someone says they’re Christian, they’re often about to do something un-Christian.” Another added, “Republicans talk about faith, but their actions say otherwise.”
