It has already been established that Donald Trump has a penchant for social media drama. From indulging in tweet battles to posting controversial comments on his Truth Social account, Trump has always made sure that he never becomes irrelevant in the world of social media.
This month was huge in that respect as the world witnessed the American President and his former BFF Elon Musk having a public fallout on social media. With Musk making various severe allegations against Trump, including that the President’s name is on the Epstein files to Trump hitting back at the Tesla owner, the real-time social media meltdown of these two grown men in power was nothing short of amusing.
Musk eventually backtracked on what he said and made an effort to get back in the good books of Trump and his sentiment was reciprocated. However, now that Musk’s blasting posts against him has stopped, Trump has found a new enemy to make his target on social media.
The American President’s latest beef is with Congressman Thomas Massie, another tech innovator. Despite being a Republican, this Kentucky representative did not vote in favor of Trump’s “Big beautiful Bill” and keeping his legacy of going after people who do not agree with him, Trump has now started attacking Massie on Truth Social.

On June 22, Trump wrote on a Truth Social post, “Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky is not MAGA, even though he likes to say he is. Actually, MAGA doesn’t want him, doesn’t know him, and doesn’t respect him. He is a negative force who almost always Votes ‘NO,’ no matter how good something may be.”
Trump did not stop here and brought out his age-old game of name calling as he tagged Massie as a “lightweight Congressman”, a “pathetic LOSER”, and “lazy, grandstanding, nonproductive politician.” Moreover, he further mentioned, “The good news is that we will have a wonderful American Patriot running against him in the Republican Primary, and I’ll be out in Kentucky campaigning really hard.”
While by now Trump has made it clear that anyone who goes against him would be met with this kind of treatment, Massie clearly did not care about it and also posted a swift response on X to what Trump said. Posting a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social post, Massie wrote, “@realDonaldTrump declared so much War on me today it should require an Act of Congress. #sassywithmassie.”

With the Elon Musk drama seemingly wrapping up, it seems that the American President is ready with his next target and given the way his opponent is behaving, a long social media feud might be awaiting for everyone to witness.
