Donald Trump Jr. left people stunned with his recent remarks, just like his dad! The 47-year-old businessman was asked about the possibility of entering politics himself after his father’s eventual departure from the White House. The eldest son of President Donald Trump, whom he shared with his late ex-wife Ivana, praised his dearest dad’s leadership skills.
“Here we go. Well, oh boy. It’s an honor to be asked that and an honor to see that some people are okay with it,” he said. Right after the moderator jokingly said that most of the people from the crowd who supported his words were people from his team, his tone became serious as he gave a straight answer.

“You never know. Right now, this [Trump Organization] has been my focus. I think it’s not just about government — it’s also about the business sector. Being at the forefront of combating woke ideology in corporate America is fundamentally important,” he said, as per the outlet Tyla.
Trump Jr. further noted that he thought business and politics have a growing connection and claimed both must work together to push back against liberal agendas. He further said that even though he’s not sure at the moment, “Maybe one day that calling is there
As the father of five spoke about his political stance, he also credited his father with actively working toward his party. I think my father has truly changed the Republican Party. It’s the America First party now — the MAGA party, however you want to look at it.” The popular public figure was present at the Qatar Economic Forum alongside investor Omeed Malik.
However, Donald Trump Jr.’s views received mixed reactions on X (formerly Twitter), and the vague but provocative remarks quickly spread online, sparking widespread concern among liberal Americans. One user wrote, “Just what the country needs… said no one,” while another simply remarked, “Absolutely not. Heck, NO!” A third added, “If I may speak on behalf of the entire universe: No.”
Interestingly, despite Donald Trump Jr. clearly stating that he isn’t sure about running for president, even though one day the calling might come, several news portals have stated his words as a decision. Later, after the event, Trump Jr. accused the reputed media house Reuters of twisting his words.
“Fake News @Reuters should retract this BS,” he said. “They put a comma where there should have been a period to change the context of what I said.” He also added that even though he will not entirely rule out the possibility, he has no plans of running for president in 2028 when Donald Trump’s tenure ends or anytime soon.
So @Reuters claims that Don Jr said the following RE running for office: “I don’t know, maybe one day. You know, that calling is there.”
But watch the video and it’s clear they misquoted him by erroneously attaching “maybe one day” to the first sentence, which changes the entire… pic.twitter.com/VemTO7RgpI

Even though Trump Jr. does not have an official role in the White House cabinet, he has become a strong media figure due to his stark opinions, good oration, and charming personality. He has always supported his father’s ideology and the Republican Party and has nothing but good things to say about them.
