Elon Musk has a favorite among the women with whom he has had kids. The Tesla CEO, who has children with 4 different women, reportedly favours one in particular over the others. Here’s why Shivon Zillis is the only woman who gets “VIP treatment” out of Musk’s other baby mamas.
Shivon Zillis is the one woman that a tech billionaire seems to like more than his other baby mamas. Zillis is an executive at one of Muks’ companies, Neuralink. Elon and Shivon met when she was working at OpenAI. Shivon joined the company after graduating from Yale University, where she studied economics and philosophy.
The two secretly welcomed their twins, Strider and Azure, in November 2021. Shivon gave birth to their third child in June 2024, and then their fourth, Arcadia, was born on February 28, 2024.
Out of all the women he has fathered children with, Zillis is notably the one with whom Musk is seen frequently. Notably, there have been several reports claiming that Zillis is the only one out of the rest that has a “special status” reserved for her.
Sources close to the two have claimed that Zillis receives VIP treatment that is only reserved for her. The Journal reports that Musk often spends time with the Neutralink executive and their kids at her Austin home. She has also been seen accompanying the Tesla CEO to high-profile public events several times.
The same source also reveals that the mother of four is a “steadying force” in the tech billionaire’s world. Zillis and Musk were seen attending Trump’s pre-inauguration event together. At the event, the pair was spotted greeting Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez.

Fast forward a few weeks, Zillis and the children joined Musk at Blair House in Washington to greet the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The affection that Musk seems to have for Zillis clearly goes both ways, and a 2020 X(formerly known as Twitter) post is proof of that.
Shivon took the opportunity to endlessly praise the father of her children in the post while expressing just how much she admires him. “No one’s perfect but I’ve never met anyone who goes through more personal pain to fight for an inspiring future for humanity,’ she wrote in the post.

Zillis went on to note how the SpaceX CEO has done so “tirelessly” for decades now. “There’s no one I respect and admire more,” she wrote while concluding the post.
Musk, who is often seen advocating pro-natal policies, had 14 children in total. The tech shares three children with pop star Grimes. The pair welcomed their first child in 2020 and named him X Æ A-Xii. Their second child, Exa Dark Sideræ, was born through a surrogate in 2021. The two announced the birth of their third child, Techno Mechanicus, in 2022.
