The wife of Vice President JD Vance, Usha Vance, might not have expected that one of the Kennedy family members would have such a strange obsession with her. Well nothing wrong on her part either to think that way after the concerned person’s latest social media activities. The individual we are talking about here, didn’t step back to express his admiration for Usha publicly. Well, this behavior has drawn amusement and backlash alike from the internet.
On February 25, Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F. Kennedy, uploaded a photo of Usha Vance and JD Vance holding their newborn on Instagram. He put a caption that read, “Could have been US!!” In a second slide, he attempted to compare his initials to JD’s, writing: “Holy —- / It stands for JAMES DAVID VANCE / Usha …. JBKS cmon.” The initials “JBKS” meant his full name. Of course, this weird move was enough to ignite more discussions about his obsession with the Second Lady.

Needless to say, the post didn’t sit well with many of his followers, who were quick to call him out in the comment section. One user urged him to stop, “Dude, I love your personality and your posts, but this is getting creepy. Knock it off.” Some others, however, playfully encouraged him to continue his antics.
This isn’t the first time Schlossberg has made such a weird public remark about Mrs Vance. A month prior, he posted a TikTok of himself where he could be seen walking down the street with the song “Drops of Jupiter” playing in the background, saying, “This one goes out to Usha, the most beautiful woman in the world. Whenever you’re ready, I’m here for you.”
The clip, which was also uploaded to Instagram, triggered massive backlash. Users didn’t hold back from criticizing him for “going after people’s wives. “Some believed he was trolling, but that excuse wasn’t very convincing for many followers.
However, his most controversial remark about Usha Vance came earlier in January when he posted a poll. There, he compared Usha Vance to his own grandmother, former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The now-deleted tweet read: “True or false: Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O.”
That post caused such severe criticism that he had to issue an apology. He even dramatically announced he was quitting social media. “I’m sorry to everyone I hurt. I was wrong. I’m deleting all my social media. Forever. It’s been fun,” he tweeted on February 6. However, his exile didn’t last long; in less than two weeks, he returned to posting.
Even after his return, followers didn’t forget his past comments. One X user mocked him with the comment, “Still shocked at your ‘I want to f— my grandma’ comments, but welcome back.”

Schlossberg was selected as a political correspondent for Vogue in July 2024. At the time, he spoke about being inspired by his family’s legacy. “I take that very seriously, and I want to contribute in my own way,” he said.
However, given his recent behavior, many wonder how this aligns with the reputation of one of America’s most famous political dynasties.
