Creamy Cheeses
Cheese is a spreadable food, and things will worsen if it is extra creamy. As mentioned, spreadable food is limited here and has more than 3.4 ounces, so you’ll have to toss it according to the TSA revised guidelines.
Honey
Well, there’s no need to mention how much spreadable honey is; to add on that, it is more than 3.4 ounces. Hence, you’ll not be able to take it on air.
Hummus
Foods like hummus pretzels are great for long drives, but not to mention, they will be good for the road, and as they are considered liquid, they can’t be taken on air travel. Most single-serve packs are large; hence, checking the label before packing is suggested.
Peanut Butter
There might be a chance that peanut butter can go through the security in the airport, but it won’t if the container is above 3.4 ounces.
Salsa
Another inclusion in this list of items limited to airport security, as per the TSA, is Salsa. It is also a liquid, and if above 3.4 ounces, it needs to be checked.
Pudding
As per the TSA, pudding is a liquid as well. Though some snack cups go through security, big cups come in light of the security scans.
Yogurt
Unfortunately, yogurt is on the list, too. Though some cups are limited, they likely might be flagged at security.
TSA has been frequent in bringing up rules to the airport, as recently they also brought in some regulations on bringing several items to the airport, and now it has come up to the snack foods. Hence, if you bring them to the airport, these are the aforementioned snack foods that might delay your travel. It is suggested to check the size and type before tossing them in your backpack. And remember that anything that is liquid, cum creamy or even spreadable or something like gel which is also over 3.4 ounces might be obstructed in the security.
