President Donald Trump is everyone’s favorite entity to discuss! From his love for Coke to McDonald’s, it’s a never-ending task for people to talk about and journalists to write about. Tabloid headlines are flooded with reports discussing about his clothing choices, fake tan, and hairstyle. Donald Trump’s notorious hairstyle isn’t just vanity—it’s strategy, says author and biographer Michael Wolff, who has constantly opposed his views.

Speaking on The Daily Beast Podcast, Wolff claimed that Trump carefully develops his signature look to draw attention and create a stark contrast with opponents like Joe Biden during the 2024 campaign. “He looks gray,” Wolff said of Biden. “His hair, what’s left of it, is gray. His skin, his suits—gray. And Trump would say, ‘Look at him. Nobody sees him. Everybody notices me.’ And he’s right.”

According to Michael Wolff, Donald Trump’s appearance, including his often-mocked hair, is intentional: “He looks that way because he thinks it’s effective.” Wolff has written four books chronicling Trump’s political rise: Fire and Fury, Siege, Landslide, and All or Nothing.

Wolff also recently claimed that Donald Trump’s ongoing battle with Harvard University had a personal motive attached. This news came after he cut funding and banned the university authority from admitting international students, threatening its tax-exempt status.

While Harvard has entered a legal battle with the Trump administration, Michael Wolff claimed that his youngest son, Barron Trump, was rejected from the university, and hence, Trump hates Harvard.  The joke became so viral that Melania Trump stated it herself. Barron “did not apply to Harvard, and any assertion that he, or anyone on his behalf, applied is completely false.” Even Trump slammed the nasty rumors

Wolff said on The Daily Beast Podcast, Because they’re like, ‘What is he doing?’ This is, you know, this is crazy stuff,” Wolff said of people in Trump’s orbit. “Why would this be happening? And then they tell the Barron joke.”

One of these books contains a memorable anecdote from Stormy Daniels’ 2019 Full Disclosure memoir. In it, Daniels claims Donald Trump admitted his hair was not good but maintained it as a personal “trademark” and refused to let any renowned stylists touch it for fear of annoying others.

“Everybody talks about it,” Trump reportedly said. “It’s my thing. It’s my trademark. I know a lot of people who would kill to do it. The best of the best.” The White House declined to comment on Wolff’s latest remarks. Meanwhile, it’s clear that the president is obsessed with his looks and has difficulty accepting his age.

Over the years, the Republican candidate’s hair has changed significantly. He even sported dark hair, as one throwback post on Instagram by Tiffany Trump revealed. To conceal his thinning hair, Trump sometimes wears a hat, and other times, he uses makeup.

However, given how unpredictable his makeup efforts are, the results are not forever perfect, and his hair appears to differ frequently. Yet Trump, being Trump, is adamant enough to maintain his looks; thus, he persists in bleaching and coloring his hair.

What’s worse is that in his snaps, it is evident that Trump missed a spot or two while applying his makeup, and in those pictures, his real skin color gets exposed. Areas behind his ear and the back of his neck are often seen without makeup, while Donald Trump does not realize it. It doesn’t look very nice.

Donald Trump’s pictures have constantly been scrutinized, and he knows it. Therefore, as he continues manipulating the world with his public image, people fall for it, and he retains his spot as one of the most popular figures in world politics.
