A nursery worker in London was arrested for brutally abusing several children who were under her care. The 22-year-old worker was accused of “badly harming” the children. The woman’s shocking reply to being confronted about the abuse is sure to leave you horrified.
Roksana Lecka was appointed to serve as a nursery caretaker at Riverside Nursery in Twickenham. The 22-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly physically harming the children at the nursery. The alleged abuse went on for a period of 6 months before she was arrested.
The caretaker can be seen pinching the legs, back, and arms of a girl who attended the nursery. Lecka then proceeds to pinch the face of the child, who starts crying, and she then grabs the girl’s face. In another video, the 22-year-old is seen vaping as she picks up from her crib. The baby is then subjected to pinching and punched on her side by the caretaker.
Another child is seen sitting at a table before Lecka decides to pinch her several times, which results in her crying. The woman pulls the girl hard, holding onto her arm and head, which makes the child’s head come in contact with the table.
She is then seen “looking around” to see if anybody witnessed the abuse and if any staff members were “watching when these assaults” occurred. The caretaker’s abuse of the kids came to light when one of the staff members saw Lecka pinch a boy’s nose, body, wrist, and mouth.

Another video also showed how mercilessly the caretaker kicked a baby. Lecka was seen punching the child four times in the face. After the brutal attack, she went on to step on his shoulder. The police who overlooked the investigation noted that the children in the nursery had been “badly treated in some way” by Lecka.
The Police department released footage that showed Lecka getting arrested at her home. The 22-year-old can be seen visibly smirking as the police inquire about the physical abuse. “Yeah, I have heard about that,” she is heard saying in the video.
During the trial, Lecka claimed that she would “smoke cannabis quite regularly with my boyfriend.” She confessed to being addicted to vapes at the time and admitted to smoking two little crystal disposables per day. She also shared that she would smoke on her shift in the nursery.
“Because if I did not smoke, I would get agitated and fed up. I couldn’t keep asking to go to the toilet. Any opportunity I would take. I would be really moody and fed up,” she claimed in the courtroom.

Lecka recalled how “tired” she was back then because she wasn’t getting any sleep. The caretaker also claimed to be “addicted” to her boyfriend and said she was “over-prioritising” him. The 22-year-old’s lawyer claimed that she was “worn out, had bad period pains, was short of energy, she was not her normally bubbly self.”
The prosecutor countered the argument, noting that these were all “excuses” to the horrendous crimes Lecka has committed. “It is clear her actions are deliberate or at the very last careless, but on most occasions we say deliberate,” Tracy Ayling KC noted. The woman has admitted to being guilty of two charges of child cruelty. At present, she has denied 21 other offences she has been accused of.
