A neighbor of Travis Decker reveals the chilling last interaction he had with the father of three before he went on the run. The man shared what Decker said to him before he took the lives of his three daughters.
Travis Decker, a Wenatchee, Washington man, is currently on the run. Decker is a former Army soldier with commando training who served in Afghanistan. The 32-year-old is currently the prime suspect in the case of the murder of his three daughters.
Olivia Decker, 5, Evelyn, 8, and Paityn, 9, were supposed to spend time with their father over the weekend. The three girls were reported dead on June 2 after last being seen on May 30. The police have been on a manhunt for Decker, who has gone missing.
Bihh Nguyen, a neighbor of the family, shared the details about the last interaction he had with the father of three. “Decker had a ‘sad look’ as he was picking up his children on Friday,” he noted. The 32-year-old also repeatedly asked his neighbor, “How you doing,” during their conversation.
Nguyen notes how he found it strange that Travis kept asking him the same question at “different points” of the conversation. “Like he wasn’t remembering he already asked,” the neighbor told the Daily Mail. He also shares how he can’t understand how the father of three could kill his beautiful daughters.

The neighbor of the family admits that he knew about Travis’s issues. Whitney Decker, who was previously married to Travis and is the mother of the three girls, had accused him of being a lunatic. Travis had allegedly beaten her in the past, and his tantrums became the reason for their divorce.
Nguyen gives Whitney credit for being an ideal mom while noting how she was doing the best for her kids. The neighbor shares how the woman was taking college courses while simultaneously working two jobs. She made sure to enroll her daughters in dancing and sports classes. The three sisters were quite kind, according to their neighbor.

The neighbor shares how he believed the family to be a happy one despite noticing the signs of a violent argument while Whitney and Travis were married. He recalled how once Whitney sported a broken arm in a sling while Travis’s face appeared to be injured. Nguyen remembers being told that the swelling on Travis’s face was due to allergies when he asked about his face being sore. Nguyen also describes his first impression of Travis to be well-built and clean-shaven.
Travis Decker, who is currently at large, is accused of suffocating his three daughters with the use of zip ties. In a shocking turn of events, the bodies of the three girls were found near the Rock Island Campground in Chelan County on Monday. Cops also found Travis’s car near where the bodies were found.
