In an unexpected twist of events, Judge Mindy Glazer met her old classmate in her courtroom. However, what could have been a sweet reunion turned sour, as her former classmate wasn’t where he was supposed to be. Footage from the judge’s courtroom was released, revealing the moment when Glazer received probably the biggest shock of her life.
On an ordinary day in 2015, Judge Mindy Glazer was attending her courtroom when she noticed a familiar face sitting across from her in the dock. It didn’t take her long to figure out that the man was none other than Arthur Booth, a classmate of hers at the Nautilus Middle School in Miami Beach. At that time, Glazer was working hard to pursue her dream of attending law school.
According to her, Booth was an ambitious student who was great at maths and science. He wanted to become a neurosurgeon, as per Tyla. Hence, the judge never even thought that she would meet him this way in her own courtroom.
As seen in the footage, after Glazer recognized Booth, she wanted to confirm once. “Did you go to Nautilus for middle school?” she asked him. The suspect immediately had a flashback. He recognized her as well and broke into a flood of tears. “Oh my goodness,” he blurted out, as per reports.
“I’m sorry to see you and I always wondered what happened to you,” Glazer responded. She was a bit surprised that they didn’t cross paths sooner, as Booth had been embroiled in a lengthy criminal history.
The judge then proceeded to address the court, providing insights into his school days. “This was the nicest kid in middle school. He was the best kid in middle school,” she said. “I used to play football with him. Look what has happened,” she continued.

Booth was in the courtroom on burglary charges and served 10 months in jail ordered by Glazer. As he exited the prison, Glazer stood up to encourage him to pursue a better life. “Take care of your family. Try to get a job. Stay clean. You’re going to do something good for somebody else,” she said.
“You better believe it. You better believe it,” the former inmate responded.
This was 2015, but it seems like he didn’t quite follow his former classmate’s wise words. According to various reports, since he was 17, he has been in and out of prison. Speaking with the Daily Mail in 2015, his family stated that gambling and drugs “took over his life.”
“He didn’t have a job, so the only way to get money was to steal. He would break into warehouses or empty homes. He just needed money quickly, and that was how he got it.”
