Ivanka Trump might be open to changing sides. The President’s daughter, who is often seen accompanying him to events, might have shaded him in a subtle way. Here’s why people are certain the 43-year-old’s new Instagram post might have been an attack on her father.
Ivanka is the daughter of Donald Trump and the late Ivana Trump. The couple got married in 1997 and welcomed their daughter in 1981. Trump also fathered his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, with Ivana.
Ivanka, who is a mother of three children with her husband, Jared Kushner, on occasion, takes photos that give a glimpse into her luxurious life. The 43-year-old recently took to Instagram to share a carousel post that showed moments from her life.
The post, captioned “This week in Miami,” featured several pictures of Ivanka with her family and friends. Eagle-eyed netizens did not miss one detail that gave rise to speculation amongst snaps that seem rather wholesome.
One of the pictures in the carousel post showed her holding up a copy of Glennon Doyle’s book Untamed. The seemingly harmless photo made netizens speculate if it was a way for Ivanka to throw shade at her father. The book’s author, Glennon Doyle, has previously been extremely vocal about her disapproval of the President.

Doyle has publicly criticized the President while supporting Kamala Harris, who was running against Trump in the Presidential election. The author has previously taken to Instagram to express her support for Harris while attacking Trump.
“Winning this election to save America from fascism will be hard. WE CAN DO HARD THINGS. AND WE WILL. No more fear. We gotta BELIEVE and we gotta WORK. CHINS UP SHOULDERS BACK: Let’s effing go,” Doyle wrote in the post.
A few weeks before Trump was re-elected as the President, the author spoke about how Trump’s winning would result in “fewer rights” being given to women. “If Trump wins, we lose, our daughters will have fewer rights than our mothers,” the author claimed.
Doyle has spoken out against Trump more than a handful of times. When he ran for President the first time, she took to Facebook to write a very straightforward post about her opinion towards him, reports Irish Star.
This moment: something so good about watching all these honorable excellent American athletes win – while watching jd and trump’s lying creepy meltdown losses. The contrast. We are remembering who we are and who we are not. We are not those lying spineless losers. We are not.

“I am an American woman and I am appalled and furious that people I know and respect might vote into the presidency a man who brags about sexual assault,” Doyle’s post read. She also challenged him to “list the excuses” to justify his behaviour.
While the author concluded the post, noting that there are “none.” She went on to claim that there was “misogyny surfacing” and staying silent when that is happening would be a “CHOICE.” She urged women and people who love a woman to “speak up” before it’s too late.
