The Golden State Warriors took a 3–1 lead against the Houston Rockets in the first-round series, after a victory of 109–106 in Game 4. Jimmy Butler, who had missed Game 3 because of injury, returned in this one and led the team.
As reported by Athlon Sports, “Butler, who was acquired in a trade with the Miami Heat earlier this season, finished the game with a team-high 27 points, six assists and five rebounds. He also reeled in a game-sealing rebound after an impressive defensive stop from Draymond Green on the final possession.”
“You a bum and a b*tch. You weak.”😳

Butler also sent a powerful message to his team after the game as he said, “It means the world. I’d die for these guys, for real. It’s so fun. I’ve got my joy back.” While he put up an excellent game and the atmosphere was already tense, a heated exchange between Butler and Dillon Brooks made things even more heated.
During their heated exchange, Jimmy Butler could be heard saying to Dillon, “You a bum and a b*tch. You weak.” Butler also said, “Somebody said something to me. That’s all it takes. Someone to say something to me — gets me going every single time… There are mics underneath the goal, you can hear it.”
He added, “I always say we’ve got the most confident guys. Anybody can put the ball in the basket. But more than anything, we’re locking in on the defensive side of the ball. We’re playing hard. When we limit our turnovers, we’re hard to beat.”
While talking about this confrontation after the game, Butler made his stand on Dillon clear as he said, “No, we were not having fun. Get me on record — I don’t like Dillon Brooks. We’re never having fun. I’m a fierce competitor, he’s a fierce competitor — there’s nothing fun about that.”

He continued, “I don’t think anybody’s trying to be friends with anybody on either team, that’s for sure.” Butler and Dillon’s fiery exchange also seemed to be enjoyed by Reggie Miller, NBA shooting legend, who, after witnessing the confrontation, said, “Look at this. Oh my goodness. I’m loving it.”
His co-commentator Kevin Harlan added, “Well, whatever [Butler] said had Brooks in stitches.” While it was all a part of the game, the exchange clearly showed how passionate the players were about their teams and how their competitive fire translated into their performance.
