As per Law & Crime, Cleamons had said that she was frustrated with her son because he had pooped in his diaper. The young lad reportedly stayed at the residence with relatives. Justice of the Peace Jay Wommack ordered an autopsy at the Southwest Institute of Forensics, where the cause of death was ruled as thermal injuries caused by scalding (major burns). In panic and urgency, the Investigators from Hooks Police and Texarkana, Texas Police launched a joint homicide investigation.
After repeated scrutiny, Jatoria Cleamons allegedly admitted to giving her son an extremely hot bath while they were living in Texarkana, roughly two weeks before his death. An obituary for Courtlyn described him as a joyful and loving child who brought “immense joy, love, and light to those who knew him.”

Rest in Heaven, my love.”
Arrest warrants were issued for Jatoria Cleamons on Sunday afternoon. The case went viral on social media sites like X (formerly Twitter). One user commented, “It’s a fuc-ing 8mth old baby. Why do these idiots reproduce??? RIP little guy.” Another one wrote, “It’s always a certain type…”
According to the World Health Organisation, approximately 1.25 million deaths in America every year result from violence-related causes, and homicide represents one in ten. At the same time, war and conflict account for one in sixty-one. In addition, among children and young adults aged 5–29, road traffic injuries, homicide, and suicide are the leading causes of death. For kids aged 5–14, drowning ranks as the sixth most common cause of death. Additionally, falls lead to more than 684,000 deaths each year.
We hope that one day, there will be a world without crime, and people will live in peace and harmony without so much chaos and injustice. We hope that the deceased son, Courtlyn Cleamons, gets justice for his unexpected death and that women like Jatoria Renae Cleamons are brutally punished for the horrific murder of her child.
