The world had mixed reactions when President Donald Trump returned to power in 2025. While some were terrified by his radical and authoritarian leadership style, others were happy that America needed a strict leader who would bring certain necessary changes to the country. Among the list of supporters, Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert wasn’t far behind in showing her excitement.
The day after election night, Boebert took to Instagram to post a carousel of awkward photos standing alongside Trump, shouting in all caps, “YOUR PRESIDENT.” Unprompted? Yes. Expected? Also, yes. Donald Trump strikes his signature thumbs-up pose in nearly every photo with a wide grin. At the same time, Boebert switches through diverse hands-on-hip perspectives.

As per The List, while the picture received lots of likes, the real scene-stealer wasn’t the body language but the overwhelming quantity of makeup on display. While most comments cheered Trump’s win, one user cut to the chase: “Hard to tell who wears more makeup.” A straightforward reply followed: “It’s him. He looks like a wax figure. And is about as intelligent.” Yikes.
By now, everyone knows that the 78-year-old President has a peculiar orange-tanned face. Even his hair is bleached into different shades of blonde at times. However, given how unpredictable his makeup efforts are, the results are not forever perfect, and his hair and makeup appear to differ frequently.
Yet, given his obsession with bronzer. He’s not going to stop applying it. Meanwhile, Lauren Boebert also has a horrible way of wearing makeup. Her layers of foundation and mismatched concealer resemble the exaggerated aesthetic behind TikTok’s viral “Republican Makeup” trend, and she fits the category perfectly.
On the other hand, Donald Trump also closely competes with Boebert’s horrible makeup skills. He has missed a spot or two while applying his makeup, and his real skin colour is exposed in those pictures. Areas behind his ear and the back of his neck are often seen without makeup. Maybe Trump does not realize it, but it looks quite unpleasant.
Beyond their shared fondness for cosmetic excess, Boebert and Trump have several things in common. Both are frequent targets of wig-wearing speculations. While others are more concerned about his visible thinning places, even the President poked fun at his mop during the Conservative Political Action Conference 2018.
“Oh, I try to hide that bald spot, folks. I work hard at it. It doesn’t look bad. Hey, we are hanging in, we are hanging in, we are hanging in there. Right? Together, we are hanging in,” he said.

While the Republican candidate has long denied claims about his hairpiece, Boebert’s coiffed layers often spark similar assumptions. Reports suggest that maintaining hair is more of an obligation than a choice for the men in the Trump family. In 2018, Donald Trump’s doctor, Dr. Ronny Jackson, confirmed, “He takes Propecia, one milligram daily, to prevent male pattern hair loss.”
In addition, both political leaders have large families. Trump has five children, and Boebert has four. Lastly, both individuals are die-hard fans of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) initiative. Boebert regularly wears the signature red hat and proudly posts social media updates about it. She was spotted at Trump’s joint Congress Address wearing a bright red, body-hugging, one-shoulder dress with leopard-print shoes to complete the look.

Lauren Boebert and Donald Trump are two sides of the same coin regarding political views, hair, and makeup! (Both are grade F—fail.) Maybe they like to be two peas in a very bronzed pod.
