The book in question is Ingersoll Lockwood’s Baron Trump’s Marvelous Underground Journey that was written in 1893. While the similarity in the name is uncanny, it is written with a single ‘r’ unlike the American President’s son Barron Trump.
However, despite the difference in the spelling, the contents of the book do show some similarity to the kind of life that Barron Trump leads. The book tells the story of a young aristocratic boy Baron and his dog Bulger as they reside in Castle Trump.
Besides this, the Baron in the book is guided by a mentor Don Fum, who is a ‘learned Spaniard’. People have naturally drawn parallels between Trump and this mentor of Baron, as they are both guiding figures. Moreover, Baron is also shown to be born in extreme wealth and despite that he wants to go on a journey of his own so that he can build his own way as he believes that life cannot be only about reputation and riches.

Moreover, the character goes to Russia in the book, which is another huge coincidence given Trump’s relations with Putin. There are also mentions of political chaos in Baron’s kingdom, which can again be connected to the Trumps in the real world as they are a political family after all.
Besides his book about Baron, Lockwood also wrote another book, titled The Last President, where he tells the story of an outsider from New York and he takes over the political scene in America. This again shows similarities to how Trump rose to power, further giving fuel to the time travel rumors.
