In December 2023, a video went viral on X (formerly Twitter) showing clips of Melania stepping off the aircraft with Trump after deliberately putting distance between them.
In a September press event, when asked about a video showing a bag being thrown out of a White House window, Trump defended himself by saying, “Actually, you can’t open the windows … they’re all heavily armored and bulletproof.” Reportedly, he then also said, “In fact, my wife was complaining about it the other day—she said, “Love to have a little fresh air come in, but you can’t.” They’re bulletproof.”
As per Nicki Swift, even though Trump was referring to the window structures in the White House, many people speculated that Melania Trump wanted the windows to be open so that there would be some fresh air to counter the body odor.

Similarly, around January 2024, another video circulated featuring Melania entering a black SUV while Donald Trump followed closely behind. According to social media commentators, she avoided getting into the same car with him. The First Lady reportedly even told her husband, “No, you smell,” but no one could hear it since the audio was muffled.
If the rumors are true, we don’t blame Melania. The former model is known to embrace luxury and style. From her paparazzi outfits to hair, makeup, and hygiene, everything is almost always on point! Melania Trump is often dressed by top designers, including Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, and Hervé Pierre, and her aura is usually compared to that of former first lady Jackie Kennedy.

Even though no one from the White House has confirmed the body odor (BO) buzz, we somehow feel it’s not true. Wouldn’t the president have access to the best perfumes and hygiene products to apply? Why would he go around the world with a BO, even while meeting world leaders?

Hence, if the buzz is somehow genuine, maybe the journalists who visit the White House for the weekly press briefing should gift him the latest trendy perfume!
