The situation in Gaza is horrific, as Palestinians continue to die every day, either from Israeli strikes at U.S.-backed aid sites or from starvation. Just when the world is divided over the whole situation, Donald Trump expressed disappointment over not receiving a thank you, which he thinks he deserves.
On Sunday, the POTUS was in Scotland. He was standing beside the EU Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen, when a reporter asked him whether he thinks Israel should put more effort into aiding the Palestinian territory it has destroyed. However, Trump’s response was extremely unexpected and bizarre, to say the least.
“We gave $60 million two weeks ago for food for Gaza, and nobody acknowledged it, nobody talks about it,” Trump said.
He continued, “And it makes you feel a little bad when you do that, and you know, you have other countries not giving anything.” The U.S. leader was likely referring to the European countries. However, his complaint didn’t really stop here.
“Nobody said, ‘Gee, thank you very much.’ And it would be nice to have at least a thank you,” Trump added.
According to the report by Reuters, the State Department approved $30 million for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. The organization has faced criticism from aid groups, the United Nations, and lawmakers for calling starving families to food distribution sites and then letting Israeli soldiers and U.S. mercenaries open fire on them.
According to the United Nations, since GHF was launched in May, Israel has been able to kill more than a thousand Palestinians. Meanwhile, on Sunday, Donald Trump refrained from specifically mentioning where the $60 million came from and who received it.
When asked about the famine in Gaza Trump said:

Although, he is now crying to receive some acknowledgment, the U.S. President made a major blunder by saying that the European countries didn’t give anything. It is to be noted those people do not financially supports GHF, and rather fund the United Nations agency.
In addition, European governments and the EU also donate to the World Food Program and other aid groups. There are also some Arab countries that donated toward Gaza relief and delivered humanitarian assistance.
On Sunday, speaking about Gaza, Donald Trump said, “It’s a mess, that whole place is a mess. We’re giving a lot of money and a lot of food and a lot of everything. If we weren’t there, I think people would have starved, frankly. They would have starved. And it’s not like they’re eating well.”
Amid the current situation in Gaza, Donald Trump’s outcry sounded a lot more childish.
