Donald Trump as Superman is evoking mixed reactions. The White House’s official social media account posted an edited photo of the President as a superhero. He was also labelled as the “symbol of hope” in the post. The photo had the internet in splits.

Here’s how netizens reacted to the picture.

Trump’s superhero avatar comes ahead of the new Superman movie. The movie directed by James Gunn hit theaters on July 11. The reboot features David Corenswet as Clark Kent, who is replacing Henry Cavill. The rest of the cast includes Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, and Isabela Merced.

The White House took to X( formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday to post the edited photo of Trump in the superhero costume. In the photo, the President was slightly elevated off the ground while he gazed upward, donning the Superman costume.

“THE SYMBOL OF HOPE.TRUTH. JUSTICE. THE AMERICAN WAY.#SUPERMAN TRUMP,” the caption alongside the post read. The photo became a topic of discussion for netizens while getting over 10k likes.

“So he can quickly fly to Jeffrey Epstein’s island?” one user questioned. Another added, “I love it. But also, stop covering up the Epstein stuff. We demand status and prison for his clients. All of them.”

“If he believed in Truth and Justice, the Epstein files would be released and the list would be in jail,” a third quipped in reference to the caption. A fourth questioned while writing, “If you’re for Truth and Justice, then where’s the Epstein list?”

Several others couldn’t help but love the President’s superhero avatar. “Strong, bold, unstoppable just like the country he’s fighting to restore and protect,” one netizen wrote. One netizen claimed that Trump is a “real superhero” and “always has been.”

The widespread demand for Epstein’s client list to be released comes after the official statement. The US Department of Justice and the FBI claimed that the disgraced billionaire’s client list did not exist.

The agencies revealed that the “waiting” for the speculated list was over because “no incriminating ‘client list’” was found. It was also noted how no “further disclosure” of files related to the case would be “appropriate or warranted.”

The statement proved to be explosive after Pam Bondi’s previous comment. The Attorney General previously claimed that the file was “sitting on her desk.” Bondi made the comment in February 2025. She addressed the Epstein case, noting that “tens of thousands” of videos were being reviewed by the FBI with no mention of the client list she previously spoke about.
