President Donald Trump recently lashed out at a reporter for asking about Jeffrey Epstein. On Tuesday, July 8, Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi took questions from the press during a Cabinet meeting a day after the FBI and DOJ announced that there’s no Epstein ‘client list’.
The federal agencies released a memo outlining the findings and declaring that no further investigation will be launched. A journalist asked Bondi about Epstein’s possible ties to intelligence agencies and a missing minute of footage in the prison’s surveillance camera from the night of his mysterious death.

Before Bondi could respond to the question, Trump interrupted as he slammed the reporter for the nature of the question. Trump said, “Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein?”
“This guy’s been talked about for years … are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable,” the President continued in his rant.
Trump then briefly turned towards Bondi and asked if she wanted to “waste the time” addressing the reporter’s question and continued saying, “I mean, I can’t believe you’re asking a question on Epstein at a time like this, where we’re having some of the greatest success and also tragedy, with what happened in Texas. It just seems like a desecration.”

Meanwhile, an answer from Bondi was still awaited as she earlier claimed that she had the Epstein file on her desk to be reviewed. A few days ago, she also claimed that the FBI is reviewing “tens of thousands of videos” as evidence.
As questions are being raised on administration’s credibility, Pondi clarified, “In February, I did an interview on Fox, and it’s been getting a lot of attention because I said — I was asked a question about the client list, and my response was, ‘It’s sitting on my desk to be reviewed.’ ”
She explained that she meant she had a file on Epstein on her desk and not the actual client list. Regarding the “tens of thousands of images and videos” that the FBI was reviewing, Pondi said that those “turned out to be child p-rn downloaded by that disgusting Jeffrey Epstein,” explaining why the administration would never release it.
Talking about Epstein’s alleged link with intelligence agencies, Bondi said, “To him being an agent, I have no knowledge about that. We can get back to you on that, and the minute missing from the video, we released the video showing definitively the video was not conclusive but the evidence prior to it was showing he committed suicide.”
She added, “There was a minute that was off. And what we learned from the Bureau of Prisons was every year, every night, they redo that video. It’s old from like 1999. So every night, the video is like reset and every night should have the same minute missing. So we’re looking for that video to release that as well showing that a minute is missing every night. And that’s it on Epstein.”
Time and again, Trump has been infamously linked to the offender. Several reports claim that Trump’s name appeared multiple times in Epstein’s flight logs, which became a point of interest among the public. The rumors were further fueled when Trump’s former best friend and advisor Elon Musk publicly stated that Trump’s name is in the Epstein files.

“That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” he wrote in his tweet last month. However, as the feud between the two escalated, Musk deleted his tweet.
However, after the administration announced that the Epstein files won’t be released, Musk again jumped into the controversy as he tweeted, “How can people be expected to have faith in Trump if he won’t release the Epstein files?”
While it’s clear that Musk wants Epstein files to be made public, Trump is in no mood to address the controversy any further. Musk even expressed that exposing the controversial files would be a priority agenda of the American Party.
