JD Vance may not have expected his older posts about the Epstein case to come back to bite him now that he’s the vice president. But this is what happens once you’re under public scrutiny.
According to the Department of Justice and the FBI, there is no Epstein client list. The list was known to hold the names of influential people who were associated with the s-x offender.
Epstein was arrested in 2019 and died in prison under mysterious circumstances. Foul play was denied, but people have several conspiracy theories. Some even connected to the Trump administration. Last year, Trump had promised to release the Epstein files during his election campaign. However, there are already records that are circulating in public, as released by Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Ahem, @JDVance.

There have been zero new facts in the information available to the public, so the MAGA administration is failing to keep their promise. Now, as revealed by the DOJ, no new documents will be made public related to the case. This also contradicts the statements made by Pam Bondi since she revealed the Epstein list was sitting on her desk to review.
But now even its existence is questionable. JD Vance’s old post says how the wealthiest and powerful people are connected to a guy who ran a child s-x trafficking ring. He also questioned how Epstein ended up dead in jail, and no one is talking about it. He posted this in 2021, long before he would have dreamed he’d be VP one day.

Now people are talking about this post, calling him a hypocrite. Netizens jumped on the comments to sarcastically tell him how he’s connected to people who can make the list public. Yet there will be no further development. This isn’t the first time MAGA has been connected to Epstein files.
Earlier this year, Elon Musk accused Trump of being in the Epstein files. He said this is why they are not releasing the files. Trump replied to his allegations, saying the information in the files will create chaos and there’s nothing for the public to see. Trump even reposted Epstein’s attorney’s statement saying there was no information that could implicate Trump.
Many people are citing Vance’s inability to release the files as it could affect his career. Not releasing the files and underdelivering on the promise is an embarrassment for the MAGA administration. One user wrote “There goes Vance’s chance of being a president.” Another one doubted his credibility when he had a chance to be better.

“Seriously, we need to release the Epstein list.”

Karoline Leavitt was also asked about the list, and she deflected the question, stating how Bondi meant the whole paperwork related to Epstein, and she’ll let her speak more on it. The whole administration is making an effort to hide the truth instead of giving the public what they promised early on.
