At this point in the war between Iran and Israel, Donald Trump is trying hard to be the perfect mediator. It could be an opportunity for him to further establish his PR image as an alleged peacemaker, which has been part of his Make America Great Again Campaign ( MAGA). He seems like the one teacher who wants to assert control in a classroom, but nobody takes them seriously. Yes, we all know a teacher like that, don’t we?

As we know, Israel launched large-scale airstrikes across Iran, targeting nuclear and military facilities in Natanz, Fordow, Isfahan, and Tehran on June 13, 2025, after which Donald Trump entered the conflict and supported Israel, its ally, by launching over two dozen Tomahawk cruise missiles at its major nuclear sites after speculation loomed that Iran could be developing nuclear weapons.

As per The Irish Star, following the bombing, Iran instantly retaliated with missiles at a U.S. base in Qatar (Al Udeid) on June 23, after which Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between the warring countries via his Truth Social account. Trump’s ceasefire announcement came with a five-word plea: “Please do not violate it!”

However, on June 24, 2025, Donald Trump reportedly blasted during a live press briefing before leaving for the NATO conference in The Hague. his helicopter. He slammed both Israel and Iran, accusing them of violating the ceasefire he had brokered earlier. “They don’t know what the f*** they’re doing,” Trump exclaimed, expressing frustration over the immediate violations by both countries.

The 79-year-old was quite unhappy that the countries did not follow the ceasefire and expressed his discontentment with Israel in particular, warning that any further strikes would severely undermine the truce. The heated remarks followed renewed tensions after Israel accused Iran of launching missiles into its airspace just hours after the ceasefire was supposed to begin.

An Israeli official confirmed that two rockets were intercepted. At the same time, Iranian state media denied launching any attacks. Instead, they accused Israel of violating the agreement first. “Israel. Do not drop those bombs. If you do, it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home now!” he added.

Donald Trump, the peace advocate, was immensely hopeful and ambitious about the ceasefire. “Israel & Iran came to me, almost simultaneously, and said, ‘PEACE!’ I knew the time was NOW… Both Nations will see tremendous LOVE, PEACE, AND PROSPERITY in their futures… The future for Israel & Iran is UNLIMITED & filled with great PROMISE. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!” he wrote.

The infamous conflict, now in its 12th day, remains volatile and uncertain as Donald Trump tries hard to establish a middle ground for the war. Meanwhile, when Trump announced the ceasefire on his social media platform, its ally Israel agreed and wrote, “Israel will respond forcefully to any violation of the ceasefire,” read the government’s statement. “Israel thanks President Trump and the United States for their support in defense and for helping eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat.”

Since Israel and America share a strong friendship, watching what happens next in the abiding conflict will be interesting. In the meantime, Iran, which has hated America for decades, is closer to Kuwait, and they share close diplomatic, economic, and military ties. But, since the U.S. and Kuwait are on good terms, while Iran and the U.S. are adversaries, it’s unusual for a U.S.-aligned country like Kuwait to maintain positive economic, military, and diplomatic relations with Iran in the future.

The war between Israel and Iran began due to deep-rooted hostility, as Israel views Iran as an existential threat due to its nuclear ambitions and hostile rhetoric. While that can be a topic for another speculative article, for now, we can only say that the conflict between the two nations is far from over.
