It’s time to talk about the man who can charm a room full of audience members with his charisma, profusely funny dialogue, and jabs—Jimmy Kimmel! The popular media personality and talk show host recently took a jab at President Donald Trump, highlighting what he described as Trump’s trademark strategy for handling major decisions: buying time.

As per sources, the late-night host pointed out that Trump once again delayed action this week—this time regarding a possible military intervention in Iran. Kimmel said, “Trump gave Iran what he called the ‘ultimate ultimatum’—basically like a ‘final finale,’ just more dramatic,” Kimmel quipped. “He loves making threats, especially when he can attach a deadline to them.”

Trump said he’d decide on Iran “within two weeks,” a phrase Kimmel claimed is all too familiar. “It’s always two weeks,” Kimmel joked. “For a guy who made ‘You’re fired’ his catchphrase, no one has ever given more two weeks’ notice than Donald J. Trump.” Later, Jimmy Kimmel played a clip from July 19, 2020,” Kimmel said. “We’re still waiting for that health care plan… and just about everything else, too.”

Jimmy Kimmel is openly liberal in his political views and has often condemned Donald Trump’s conservative views. He has also been an ardent advocate for addressing progressive causes, from healthcare access to gun control. Their feud has intensified over the years, with Kimmel refusing to back down and Trump increasingly calling him out.

As host of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kimmel often uses his monologue to mock the 79-year-old president. Meanwhile, Donald Trump has responded to Kimmel’s jabs on social media and in interviews, calling him a “wacko,” “washed-up,” and even “the least talented” of late-night hosts.

In March, the former Oscar host also mocked the TACO trend, which went viral on social media. No, we are not talking about the delicious Mexican dish but the latest acronym—and a satirical jab directed at President Donald Trump. On Wall Street, “TACO” stands for “Trump Always Chickens Out.”

Jimmy Kimmel jumped into the taco meme craze, aiming at Donald Trump’s ever-changing stance on tariff policies. “He’s flipped so many times, they had to give the process a name,” Kimmel joked, referencing the acronym coined by Financial Times columnist Robert Armstrong. “How does it feel to be on the other end of the nickname game?”

Kimmel taunted. “Not great, does it?” He added that Trump reportedly “flipped out” when asked by a reporter about the TACO term, calling it “a nasty question.” Kimmel thinks the nickname was perfect for the MAGA supporter owing to his high tariff policies, which made headlines a few months ago. Consequently, he also does not like Elon Musk, Trump’s beloved former advisor and friend. Kimmel mocked his federal cuts for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Jimmy Kimmel said, “He came, he chainsawed, we bled, and he left.” He also noted that the cuts saved far less than Musk originally promised. Therefore, it’s hard for the two big media figures to find a middle ground and make peace anytime soon. It’s the classic case of a progressive entertainer and a famous radical politician with different ideologies coexisting in a larger public spectrum.
