Zaria Khadejah Carr, a 27 years old influencer was found dead by the police when they reached the scene after getting a call about domestic disturbance around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 14.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, “Zaria’s husband, Shamarcus Jameal Carr, was not at the home at the time, and her car was also missing. Authorities put out an alert for the vehicle, which was located around 11 p.m. in Wayne County by the local sheriff’s office” PEOPLE reported.
After finding his location, when the police tried to conduct a traffic stop, Shamarcus, who is 36 years old, shot himself. The injury proved to be fatal as he succumbed to death as a result of his self-inflicted gun shot as GBI mentioned in their statement.
The couple was popular on social media and a source close to them mentioned to PEOPLE that Shamarcus had an account on Facebook under the name of ‘The Frenchman’. His account has 44,000 followers and he is known online as a French bulldog breeder.

Zaria, who was an influencer, had her account under the name of ‘Dutchess Dior’. There are maternity shoot pictures of Shamarcus with Zaria that are featured on Shamarcus’ page.
However, one horrific detail that has emerged in regard to this case is the last post that was made on the account of Duchess Dior. The last post on that page is on June 14, around 6 p.m. and the post appears to be a cry for help. The post reads, “I really don’t know what to do. .. but i need help before i lose my life or freedom ! My kids need me !”

Since the post was made on the Dutchess Dior account, it can be assumed that it was made by Zaria and she was in some kind of trouble. It was on the same day and within a few hours that she was found dead by the police. GBI investigators have not offered any direct comment on the accounts and their connection to Zaria and Shamarcus but they have mentioned that they do know about the existence of those accounts.
Zaria’s cause of death has still not been determined and the authorities are also looking into the injuries she had, which eventually led to her death. Shamarcus’ death is also under investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Since the investigation is still going there is not much other information available on the case. It now remains to be seen how the case proceeds and when the police offer more information on the couple’s death.
