Jimmy Kimmel has a lot to say about the end of the Trump-Musk bromance. The talk show host did not hold back on trolling the two over their public feud. Here’s what the comedian said about Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s fallout.
Kimmel is one of the many people to acknowledge the chaotic fallout between the President and his senior advisor. It all started when Elon Musk, who is dubbed the “first buddy,” labelled Trump’s flagship tax and spending bill as a “disgusting abomination.”
Trump was quick to cut ties with the Tesla CEO as he declared, “Elon and I had a great relationship, I don’t know if we will anymore.” This seems to have provoked Musk even more as he took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to claim that Trump would have “lost the election” without him.
The public feud just kept escalating until Musk made a declaration that stopped everyone in their tracks. The tech billionaire claimed that the Jeffrey Epstein files have been kept from going public because Trump’s name is in the files.
“My prediction: at the end of this, one of them’s in a cell with Diddy,” Jimmy Kimmel was heard speculating on his show. He went on to note how there is a massive “faction” of the “MAGA-verse” who are obsessed with Jeffrey Epstein’s case.
“They see any list of names, any lunatic posts, anywhere online, they treat them like they’re the Dead Sea Scrolls,” the talk show host joked. He pointed out how, currently, one MAGA “hero” was accusing another of being a part of the whole scandal. “And what do they do? I can’t wait to find out,” Kimmel noted with anticipation.

He also labelled Musk’s declaration about the Epstein files to be “absolutely nuclear.” The talk show host then claimed to “know” that this day would arrive but said it was even better than he imagined it to be.
He mocked the two men by drawing parallels between the duo and divorced couples by making a festive joke. ”It’s like coming down the stairs on Christmas morning and finding a second tree,” Kimmel noted.
The talk show host jokingly claimed that he felt bad for the President for losing his friends one by one. “I mean, first he lost Jeffrey Epstein, now Elon. He’s running out of friends,” the 57-year-old quipped during his monologue.

Kimmel also noted how uncharacteristically Trump has handled Elon’s outburst. The President is usually quick to react to any kind of criticism, usually taking to his social media platform to pen an opinion about it. The talk show host noted how “unusually quiet” the President has been.
“No executive orders, no angry posts about Elon on Truth Social,” Kimmel added. He spoke about how unlike him it is for the President to show restraint, especially when he is provoked. “So this must be serious,” the talk show host concluded. At the end of his monologue, Kimmel joked about how, now counting Musk and Melania, Trump has two foreigners “who won’t sleep with him.”
