Leavitt accepted the position of Press Secretary, becoming the youngest person in history to do so. Ever since, the 27-year-old has proven herself to be a highly “effective communicator,” according to Trump.

Karoline Leavitt is a devout catholic and has spoken about how important her faith is to her on several occasions. The Press Secretary has been spotted leading team prayers before briefings. In the past, the 27-year-old has noted how her faith is “incredibly important” to her.
“Being in a role that is very demanding and at times controversial, and there’s a lot of public pressure and discussion online about who you are and your family,” she shared in a CBN interview. She went on to explain how with faith, “everything is possible.”

Dave Min, who is a California Congressman, has previously attacked Leavitt, accusing her of being a “Fake Christian.” The comment came after the Press Secretary revealed that the government had decided to freeze federal grants and assistance. “Karoline Leavitt is a Fake Christian, like so many in this Golden Calf administration,” Min wrote in an X post.
Leavitt immediately struck back at the congressman by noting how “pitiful” his comment was. “My Christian faith is a huge part of my life. My faith, my marriage, my family life — it’s everything to me,” she told the New York Post.
Karoline Leavitt doesn’t think the 2020 elections were rigged
Trump has been very adamant about his belief that the 2020 elections were rigged. The President has taken every opportunity he has gotten to claim that the election was “stolen” from him. Karoline, on the other hand, disagrees, at least that’s what two sources told The Washington Post.
The two sources that remain anonymous claimed that Leavitt had admitted that she thinks there was no foul play involved in the 2020 elections. When she was asked about the same, the Press Secretary denied saying that.
“As Karoline told the Washington Post, these claims are false, and The Daily Beast is fake news for printing these lies again,” a White House spokesperson shared. The spokesperson also noted how Karoline has spoken out against the “fraud” that happened in the 2020 election. Leavitt “continues to speak the truth on behalf of President Trump behind the podium every day,” they added.
Karoline Leavitt’s husband sponsored her congressional run
Before Karoine became Trump’s press secretary, she ran in New Hampshire’s 1st District congressional elections. Her 2022 run wasn’t exactly a success, but that’s not the most noteworthy part about her election run.

Leavitit’s husband, Nicholas Riccio, was on her finance committee, according to reports. There has been speculation about Riccio even supporting his wife’s congressional run. According to a NOTUS report, the Press Secretary allegedly owes Riccio and his company $2,000 in refunds for excessive campaign donations.
Karoline hasn’t addressed the rumor surrounding the donations for her campaign. The Press Secretary has openly spoken about how “supportive” her husband is of her professional aspirations. “He’s built a very successful business himself, so now he’s fully supportive of me building my success in my career,” she admitted while she appeared on the Megyn Kelly show.
